Los Angeles Clippers guard Paul George (knee) will play on Friday against the Wizards. He missed the last two games because of a knee injury. However, the 33-year-old is now back in the lineup, much to the relief of fantasy managers. Of course, George should be featured in all fantasy lineups. But his return could mean less production from Terance Mann, who's averaged nearly 18 points in the previous three contests.
Phoenix Suns guard Eric Gordon (groin) is questionable going into Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets. He's been absent for two consecutive contests. Bradley Beal (hamstring) is expected to return after missing five straight games. With Beal's probable return, Royce O'Neale will likely be demoted. As for Gordon, the 35-year-old is averaging 12.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.8 minutes per game while seeing action in 49 contests this season.
Philadelphia 76ers small forward Kenyon Martin Jr. (ankle) is unavailable in Friday's game against Charlotte. He will miss his third consecutive game with a right ankle impingement. Before the ankle injury, Martin Jr. averaged 3.5 points, 0.7, and 1.8 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game. He has suited up in 42 contests this season. Nicolas Batum, Ricky Council, and Darius Bazley could see more minutes with Martin sidelined.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (shoulder) is out for Friday's contest versus the Charlotte Hornets. Oubre is experiencing soreness in his right shoulder, and it's enough to keep him out on Friday. The 28-year-old swingman is losing steam over his last five games (three starts), amassing only 9.6 points on 36.4% shooting from the floor, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.6 swipes in 29.0 minutes per contest. Oubre looks to return on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks. A great matchup with a dismal Hornets team is in store for Kyle Lowry, Oubre's replacement in Philly's first unit, as Charlotte owns the fourth-worst defensive efficiency rating (117.1) and are allowing the fourth-worst opponent field-goal percentage (49.6%) in basketball. Lowry is worth streaming in season-long fantasy leagues in a pinch, and the veteran floor general is a decent budget option in DFS on Friday.
Miami Heat guard/forward Caleb Martin (thumb) has been listed as questionable on the injury report ahead of Saturday's matchup against the Jazz. He hurt his left thumb against the Nuggets on Thursday, and the injury might end a streak of 22 consecutive appearances for Martin. The 28-year-old has been a member of the second unit in the last two contests, but Martin typically does a solid job in any role. He's averaged 10.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists for the season. Jaime Jaquez Jr. is in line to benefit from Martin's potential absence on Saturday, and it might be an ideal matchup to end his recent slump. The Jazz like to push the pace but can't defend, meaning we should see plenty of good fantasy lines for Heat players on Saturday.
