Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond notched 17 points and rocked the glass with 26 rebounds in Wednesday's 132-123 double-overtime win against the Cavaliers. Drummond made his 10th start of the campaign as Chicago tried to counter Cleveland's big frontcourt. He added three blocks and an assist to his big double-double, finishing with 8-for-12 shooting in 36 minutes. It was Drummond's ninth career game with at least 25 rebounds, which is the most in the NBA since 2000. He's now averaging 14.1 points and 17.9 rebounds as a starter this season. This was a vintage Drummond performance, but he's set to head back to the bench for the next matchup, and it might take a while until we see him in full flow again.
Phoenix Suns guard Eric Gordon (groin) is officially listed as questionable for the Suns' game Thursday against the Rockets. The 35-year-old missed the team's game on Sunday with a hamstring injury, and he sat out of the contact portion of Phoenix's practice on Tuesday. With Bradley Beal (hamstring) also questionable after missing each of the last four games, Gordon could get the start if he suits up. If Gordon misses his second straight game, Royce O'Neale would be next in line to start. Gordon is averaging 12.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 29.8 minutes per game this season.
Los Angeles Clippers head coach Ty Lue says forward Paul George (knee) will not practice Tuesday and will not play Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers. George is nursing soreness in his left knee that cost him Sunday's loss to the Sacramento Kings, and his next shot to return comes on Friday against the Washington Wizards. L.A.'s offense will run through Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, with Norman Powell being a fantasy streamer.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Kenyon Martin Jr. (ankle) carries a questionable tag ahead of Tuesday's meeting with Boston. He's dealing with right ankle impingement and could be out for a second consecutive game. Martin Jr. has played a fairly significant role in the rotation lately, averaging 23.3 minutes across his last seven appearances. Kelly Oubre Jr. and De'Anthony Melton should see more action off the bench without Martin Jr. on Tuesday.
Los Angeles Clippers guard Paul George (knee) won't play on Sunday against the Sacramento Kings. Paul has missed only three games this season. But as expected, the 33-year-old has played well, averaging 22.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals. It's only knee soreness, so he should be back when the Clippers meet the Lakers on Wednesday. In the meantime, Norman Powell (ankle) will likely slide into the starting lineup. Fantasy managers also shouldn't forget about Amir Coffey, who has averaged 15.7 points in the three games Paul has missed during the 2023-24 campaign.
