This looks like a rest game for the veteran forward who has been playing through an ankle issue. Taurean Prince has been removed from the injury report and figures to move into the starting five. Both Prince and Rui Hachimura are likely to see a boost in value with James sidelined on Tuesday.

The team recently said that Reddish is expected to miss multiple games while he recovers from a knee issue. Well, Reddish appears to be on track to play after missing only three games. The expectation is that he'll slide back into the starting five once he's cleared to play. Reddish hasn't performed great this season, but could be a possible deep league option.

According to Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, forward Rui Hachimura (calf) will remain on a minutes restriction on Friday night versus the Nets. The former Wizard missed five games to begin 2024 but has been in uniform for the Lakers' last three contests. While his production hasn't been terrible, he's logged fewer than 22 minutes in each game since returning. That said, his minutes have steadily increased, so he could see some more work versus Brooklyn. However, Hachimura has a way to go before becoming a must-start fantasy option in any format.

Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis (Achilles) is expected to play on Friday at home against the Nets. He's currently listed on the injury report as probable, and he is likely to suit up and start barring any pregame setbacks. Davis has been questionable or probable for most games this year but has only missed two games all season. A prime candidate for 35 or more minutes and a 30-point double-double, the Lakers' star belongs in all lineups if he ends up playing Friday.
