Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) is considered probable for Tuesday's matchup against Washington. He has missed only three games all season and is expected to play in a 10th consecutive contest. We might see a more aggressive version of James on Tuesday if he plays because Anthony Davis (calf) is iffy for the game. Washington allows by far the most points per game in the NBA this season, so the Lakers' most savvy scorers, like James, should rack up points with ease Tuesday night.
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (calf) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Washington. Davis has played through a foot problem the entire season but is currently dealing with calf soreness. The Lakers might be without Davis for the second time in five games. Jaxson Hayes started against Brooklyn instead of Davis last Friday. He finished with six points and nine rebounds in 33 minutes of action. Hayes should have more joy against the Wizards if he gets a new opportunity to start, as Washington allows the most fantasy points in the league to opposing centers.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) will play on Sunday versus the Clippers. As usual, the 40-year-old was listed on the injury report because of his nagging right foot injury. But, as expected, he'll be out there. James has only missed three games this season. He's also remained productive, averaging 23.8 points, 8.8 assists, and 7.5 rebounds, keeping him a must-start in all fantasy setups.
Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (calf) has been upgraded to available ahead of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Davis is back in the mix after missing Friday's contest due to a calf issue. He was questionable coming into this game, but he appears to be feeling good enough to play. Jaxson Hayes played 33 minutes on Friday, but now he'll likely go back to seeing minutes in the teens. Davis shouldn't be limited at all after a one game absence, so fantasy managers can go ahead and get him active in their lineups.
Los Angeles Lakers forward Dorian Finney-Smith (personal) has been downgraded from doubtful to out on Friday and will not suit up against his former team, the Brooklyn Nets. Finney-Smith and his wife welcomed their newborn son on Wednesday and it looks like he'll get a bit of time off so he can be with his family. In the meantime, Rui Hachimura should see an increase in usage again after he posted 23 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Max Christie will likely see added minutes with the starters too.
