Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (eye) will play against the Hawks on Monday evening. Davis logged only 12 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Warriors because of an eye injury. He had trouble with his vision, so the team labeled him questionable heading into this contest. However, his vision improved, which is good news for the Lakers, a team holding the final Play-In spot in the Western Conference. Davis has had an MVP-caliber season, meaning he should be in all fantasy lineups. But his presence means less work for Jaxson Hayes, who finished Saturday's game with seven points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is once again considered questionable as the team prepares to face the Hawks on Monday night. James recently had to skip a game with a troublesome left ankle, but he's logged 38-plus minutes in all three games since returning, and the questionable designation tends to be more of a likely tag with him. The veteran superstar went off for a near 40-point triple-double on Saturday against the Warriors when Anthony Davis (eye) was limited to just 12 minutes. He's averaging 27.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 9.5 assists, and 1.3 steals for the month. Performing well against a defensively challenged team like Atlanta shouldn't cause James any issues.
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (eye) has officially been listed as questionable for Monday's tilt against Atlanta. He suffered a left corneal abrasion on Saturday against Golden State, playing only in the first quarter. Jaxson Hayes will be called on to hold down the fort in the middle if Davis can't play on Monday. However, reports are suggesting that he already stated to feel better on Saturday night, so there should be a chance Davis will suit up. The Lakers will be desperate to have him on the court after falling to 10th in the Western Conference. Monday's matchup would be a highly favorable one for Davis, as the Hawks are bad defensively and give up the fourth-most rebounds in the league to the center position.
Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Cam Reddish (ankle) has been ruled out again for the fourth consecutive game. The Pennsylvania native will miss his 29th game of the season as he's dealt with an array of lower body injuries this season. Due to his inconsistent health, he hasn't been able to establish a consistent role when he does play. While he's sidelined again, Spencer Dinwiddie will continue to get more opportunities off of the bench. Taurean Prince may also see some more minutes depending on matchups while D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves carry important roles with the starting five.
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (eye) finished with eight points, four rebounds, one steal, and one block in Saturday's loss to the Warriors. He played only 12 minutes before exiting for the rest of the contest after suffering a corneal abrasion in his left eye. Davis will be monitored closely on Sunday. He'll likely also undergo more testing. However, there's a chance he won't play on Monday against the Atlanta Hawks. If that's the case, Jaxson Hayes, who had seven points and 12 rebounds versus the Warriors, might enter the starting lineup, automatically giving him a significant boost in fantasy potential.
