Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) has officially been upgraded from questionable to active on Monday night and will suit up against the Indiana Pacers. The King will make his sixth consecutive start despite the ankle issue he continues to deal with each night. After D'Angelo Russell got the late scratch from the lineup, James' playmaking and ball-handling will be even more important. This should turn into another big night for James and Anthony Davis as they try to remain in the playoff race and avoid the play-in tournament. James is a must-start candidate in all fantasy formats.
Los Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell (illness) wasn't even on the injury report until he was surprisingly ruled out late Sunday night due to a non-COVID illness. The 28-year-old has only missed a few games since the turn of the new year, and he wasn't even listed as dealing with an illness prior to this news. With Russell missing from the starting lineup and LeBron James (ankle) still questionable, Spencer Dinwiddie is likely to move into the starting lineup. Cam Reddish and Max Christie should also see more opportunities off of the bench, but Dinwiddie is more likely to be the better streaming option.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The superstar forward has been dealing with an ankle issue for what seems like months now. However, James normally plays through the issue, but fantasy managers should check back for another update ahead of tip-off. His absence would likely result in more playing time for Spencer Dinwiddie and Taurean Prince. Between the two, Dinwiddie is the better streaming option if James sits out.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) picked up another questionable tag on Friday and his status will be updated closer to tip-off against the Philadelphia 76ers. The King has been on the injury report more often than not, especially with the ankle issues that he's been dealing with for a while now. If he's able to play, a big night should be in store against the short-handed Sixers who could also be without Tobias Harris (ankle). If James has to watch from the sidelines, however, Rui Hachimura would be the best streaming option even though Spencer Dinwiddie and Taurean Prince would see some added opportunities as well.
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (Achilles) has been listed as probable for Friday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Even though he's been a mainstay on the injury report, Davis hasn't been forced to miss a game since the end of January. He'll take on a short-handed Sixers squad that is very vulnerable down low since Joel Embiid (knee) hasn't been on the court. Davis is in line for a big night, especially if LeBron James (ankle) doesn't get upgraded from questionable. As long as Davis remains healthy, he should never be on the bench in any fantasy format.
