Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (knee) won't play on Monday against the 76ers. He's currently having arguably the best year of his career from a production standpoint, averaging 9.2 points and shooting 47.7% from deep. Regrettably, the veteran has battled various injuries throughout the 2023-24 campaign, and he's most recently missed the last four games because of knee bursitis. With Luka Doncic (ankle) and Kyrie Irving (thumb) in and out of the lineup this season, Exum has taken advantage. But it's anyone's guess when he'll be ready to return. That said, Exum won't be as productive if Irving and Doncic are both available, meaning fantasy managers in most re-draft setups can drop him.
Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (ankle) is questionable for Monday's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. Doncic's ankle has given him trouble over the last week or more, so his presence on the injury report is something fantasy managers are used to by this point. It would be a tough break for managers if he can't play, considering he scored at least 40 points in each of his previous two contests. At any rate, if Doncic doesn't suit up, Kyrie Irving (thumb), who's expected to return from a lengthy layoff, should absorb most of the ball-handling duties. Additionally, Josh Green and Derrick Jones Jr., would remain viable streaming options if Doncic isn't available.
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (thumb) is expected to play on Monday versus the Philadelphia 76ers. The former Net is listed as probable after missing his previous six games because of a right thumb sprain. Irving continues to be a productive fantasy asset. However, Irving has missed plenty of time throughout the 2023-24 campaign, so it's been a constant issue for fantasy managers. Of course, he should be back in all fantasy lineups. At any rate, Irving's expected return should mean fewer minutes and scoring opportunities for Derrick Jones Jr., Josh Green, and Jaden Hardy. It might also mean fewer offensive chances for Luka Doncic, who's scored at least 40 points in each of his previous two games.
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (thumb) has been officially ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. This doesn't come as a shock considering Irving was listed as doubtful heading into this game. The good news is, Irving reportedly had a few good days at practice and should be ready for Monday's game. In the meantime, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Josh Green will have extended roles in the rotation. Between the two, Hardaway is the better streaming option, but both have value for Saturday's slate.
Dallas Mavericks center Maxi Kleber (nose) is expected to suit up for Saturday's meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Mavs likely won't have Dereck Lively II (nose) for at least a few games, with the rookie scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday. Fortunately, Kleber should be available. However, with Richaun Holmes coming off a double-double, Kleber could see fewer minutes than usual, meaning he's not worth starting in any fantasy format.
