Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) will play on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers. He's battled several injuries this season, including a toe issue that kept him out for over two months. The 32-year-old also fractured his nose a few weeks back. However, Kleber's current knee soreness likely isn't anything for fantasy managers to be concerned with. That said, despite the arrivals of P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford, Kleber continues to have a routine role in the rotation. Unfortunately, he hasn't been productive, averaging just 5.2 points and 3.6 boards during the 2023-24 campaign.
Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (ankle) will play against the Pacers on Tuesday evening. The 2018 No. 3 overall pick has lived on the injury report for most of the 2023-24 campaign. But his latest ailment, a sprained right ankle, hasn't been severe enough to keep him off the floor. Doncic is having another fantastic year and could be heading toward his first MVP award. Of course, he's a must-start. However, the 25-year-old could surpass expectations in a fast-paced meeting with Indiana.
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) is questionable to face the Pacers on Tuesday. After dealing with toe and nose issues, Kleber has now landed on the injury report with left knee soreness. He could miss out on a great opportunity to make noise, as Indiana is giving up the third-most points per game in the league (122.0) and is ranked 24th in rebounding rate (48.8). Kleber sees 20-plus minutes regularly, and his absence would give a good boost to the rest of the Mavericks bigs. P.J. Washington has been the best frontcourt asset from Dallas. He has posted 11.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 31.9 minutes since arriving from Charlotte.
Detroit Pistons guard/forward Quentin Grimes (knee) is considered doubtful for Tuesday's clash with Miami. He's been dealing with a right knee issue for a bit but was able to play in four consecutive contests before missing Sunday's matchup against Orlando. Grimes has started life in Motown as a member of the second unit, averaging 5.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists across 19.8 minutes. Marcus Sasser, Evan Fournier, and Simone Fontecchio are the first guys off the bench for Detroit and get a chance to grab a few extra minutes without Grimes. However, things might not come very easy for them on Tuesday, as Miami is one of the stingiest teams against opposing benches -- only four teams have allowed fewer points per game to second units.
Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's meeting with the Indiana Pacers. He's been dealing with several injuries of late. However, an ankle issue is his latest ailment. The 25-year-old appeared on the injury report before Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Yet, Doncic still ended the afternoon with a game-high 38 points, 11 boards, and 10 assists. He did have seven turnovers. However, it was still a solid outing from the 2018 No. 3 overall pick. Nevertheless, Doncic should be out there on Tuesday, barring a setback. But if he's not, Kyrie Irving would be in charge of the offense. There would also be an opportunity for Dante Exum to break back into the starting lineup, making him an adequate streaming option.
