Saturday’s main DFS slate in the NBA only features three games, and while I want to say that it is likely to be a pretty straightforward slate, this is April. Anything can happen in the basketball world during this month.

Matchups to Target | NBA DFS First Look

Bam Adebayo vs. Chicago Bulls

Adebayo always presents a very strong floor in fantasy. Over the course of the season, he is averaging just over 41 fantasy points per game, while sporting a healthy 31% rebounding rate, 25.4% usage rate and a team-best 1.23 fantasy points per minute. On Saturday he faces a Bulls team that is coughing up the third-most points per game to opposing roll men out of the pick-and-roll this season (8.7), while also allowing the highest frequency rate in basketball off the play type (7.1%). Chicago is also coughing up 5.2 post-up points per game (sixth most), putting Adebayo in a pretty advantageous spot here.

Seth Curry vs. Atlanta Hawks

Curry is currently listed as questionable in this game, but he’s been able to suit up in each of the last four games, despite dealing with the ankle issue. As long as he is active, I like his potential in this matchup. As you can see, the Hawks rank dead last against shooters this season, while they are also surrendering the most points per game off screens (5.2). Atlanta is also allowing the most points per possession (1.12) and the highest field goal percentage (46.2%) off the play type. Opposing shooting guards are also averaging the second-most points per game (23.37) and sixth-most triples per game (3.54) against the Hawks over the course of the season.

Value Plays | NBA DFS First Look

Duncan Robinson vs. CHI — With just a three-game slate, value will be a lot tougher to come by today. Robinson, at least on DraftKings, stands out at the moment. His minutes have been a bit all over the place but with Max Strus, Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin listed as questionable, Robinson’s minutes could be more trustworthy Saturday.
