The Los Angeles Rams will host the San Francisco 49ers in this Week 8 clash of NFC West foes. The Rams are coming off the bye week and will look to get back on track after an underachieving start to their title defense. They were handled easily by the Niners in Week 4 and truly haven’t looked good all season.
That’s been the norm as the 49ers are 7-1 straight up in their last eight games against the Rams. Luckily for LA, the lone victory came in the NFC Championship game last season. The Niners, however, will enter this matchup with a new look as Christian McCaffrey will likely play his first game with a somewhat full workload. He’s just another elite weapon the Rams will have to worry about for an offense that they’ve struggled to slow down in recent years.
