Evan Engram Has 10 Catches In Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram caught 10 of his 13 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's meeting with the Titans. With the loss, the Jaguars were eliminated from postseason contention. However, Engram put forth his best effort, so he can't shoulder much of the blame. Overall, the 29-year-old arguably had the best season of his career. He caught 114 passes, doing so despite the subpar play of Trevor Lawrence. Engram also nearly hit the 1,000-yard receiving mark and found the end zone four times. That said, his stock will be much higher than most at the position ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. If Lawrence can get his act together, Engram could be in line for his best year in the league.

Travis Etienne Jr. Caps Off Strong Season On Sunday

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. finished Sunday's loss to the Titans with 57 yards off 16 carries. He added five catches for 30 yards. The Jaguars didn't make the postseason. However, Etienne can't take much of the blame, considering he was a top fantasy back all year. The 24-year-old will finish the 2023-24 campaign with 12 touchdowns (11 rushing, one receiving). He also surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the second straight season. Etienne will draw plenty of interest from fantasy managers in drafts heading into next season, and he may even get taken in the first round in many of them.

Trevor Lawrence Can't Lift Jags To Playoff Appearance

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder, finger) threw for 280 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks off 29-for-43 passing in Sunday's loss to the Titans. He added three carries for 10 yards. This wasn't Lawrence's worst showing of his career. However, it wasn't good enough to get the Jaguars into the postseason. The signal-caller has battled various injuries throughout the year, so it's possible they were the cause of some of his mishaps. At any rate, Lawrence took a significant step back this season. He threw four fewer touchdowns than he did a season ago and also nearly doubled his number of picks. The former Clemson Tiger has some work to do, especially since his days as a starting quarterback could be coming to an end if he doesn't get his act together next season.

Christian Kirk Won't Play In Week 18

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk (groin) was activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday, but he's officially inactive on Sunday for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars were hoping to get Kirk back in a must-win game after he had made excellent progress following core-muscle surgery, but that won't be the case. The good news is that Jacksonville will be getting Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) back from a two-game absence, so quarterback Trevor Lawrence's top two targets against the Titans will be Calvin Ridley, Jones and tight end Evan Engram as they look to win the AFC South title. When healthy this year, the 27-year-old Kirk was dynamic with 57 receptions, 787 yards and three touchdowns on 85 targets. If the Jags make the playoffs, there's a good chance Kirk will be ready to roll for wild-card weekend.

Trevor Lawrence Officially Active In Week 18

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder, finger) is officially active for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Lawrence was held out of the Week 17 win over the Carolina Panthers but is returning to play this weekend in a must-win game. The 24-year-old will be playing through an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder and will almost certainly not be 100 percent, so he'll be extra risky in DFS and in season-long leagues for anyone still playing for a championship. The good news is Lawrence isn't at risk of reinjuring his right shoulder on Sunday, so if the Jaguars win the AFC South with a victory, he should be all systems go next weekend for the wild-card round of the postseason. Lawrence won't be getting receiver Christian Kirk (groin) back from Injured Reserve.
