Dalton Kincaid Comes Alive With 87 Yards

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid led the team with 87 receiving yards in Week 17's 27-21 win over the New England Patriots, hauling in four of his seven passes. Buffalo's defense dominated on Sunday, picking off quarterback Bailey Zappe three times and returning one to the house. It led to a run-heavy game plan for the Bills, which called for signal-caller Josh Allen to carry the ball on 11 of his 42 dropbacks. Kincaid enjoyed two major highlights on the day, streaking down the field for the longest catch of his career (51 yards) and passing Sammy Watkins for the franchise record for rookie catches (66) overall. Kincaid's fantasy prospects have mostly suffered with Dawson Knox in the lineup, but there's no doubting the promise that the 2023 first-rounder has demonstrated this year, considering the general trajectory of early-career TEs. Kincaid next plays in what could be high-scoring Week 18 environment with the Miami Dolphins.

Patriots Contain James Cook In Week 17

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook has cooled off dramatically since a stellar five-game hot streak of at least 100 yards in each contest. Although the team found themselves in a run-heavy game script in Week 17's 27-21 win over the New England Patriots, Cook turned 16 carries into 48 scoreless yards and caught one of his three targets for a loss of four yards. New England bottled up the slippery Cook on Sunday, keeping him in check for a long gain of just eight yards. The 2022 second-rounder has certainly improved this season, but he just hasn't been able to find a knack for the end zone. It has seemingly kept Cook out of contention for bell-cow status in Buffalo's backfield all year, as he ceded seven RB opportunities in this one. Though his lack of receiving usage remains odd, Cook will remain an interesting RB1 bet next Sunday night in a potential shootout with the Miami Dolphins.

Josh Allen Sneaks His Way To Two Touchdowns

The Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen (shoulder) took care of business in Week 17 for a 27-21 win over the New England Patriots. Allen completed just 15-of-30 attempts for 169 yards and an interception, failing to record a passing touchdown for the first time this year and registering a season-low 53.3 passer rating. But the dual-threat superstar got the job done on the ground, rushing a season-high 11 times for 44 yards and two scores. The Bills fell into an early 7-0 hole courtesy of a kickoff return TD and went three-and-out on their first series, but they quickly climbed out of it with a 20-point first half. Allen broke the plane on two QB sneaks, with one arriving in the first quarter and the next early in the third period to give Buffalo a commanding two-score lead. Despite a late shoulder stinger, Allen will almost certainly be out there in Week 18 against the Miami Dolphins for the division crown, which should be a very popular contest for DFS.
