Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) has been upgraded in his status and is available to play on Thursday against Miami. Kleber's availability gives Dallas an extra body to combat the Heat's star center Bam Adebayo. Offensively, he's not expected to have a major role, especially considering his recent awful form. Kleber hasn't hit a single shot in his last three appearances, posting only three total points. He's also been quite passive on the boards over the stretch, getting just 2.7 rebounds.
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) is on the injury report as probable ahead of Thursday's clash with Miami. He missed one game last week, but Kleber has been fairly durable since returning from a toe injury in mid-January, and it looks like he will be good to go against the Heat. Kleber has been used off the bench in each of his last seven appearances. He's continued to play a large part in the rotation but was limited to only 15 minutes on Tuesday against Indiana. Even with health minutes, Kleber helps out fantasy managers very little, and he's definitely a much better asset in real life.
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) will play on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers. He's battled several injuries this season, including a toe issue that kept him out for over two months. The 32-year-old also fractured his nose a few weeks back. However, Kleber's current knee soreness likely isn't anything for fantasy managers to be concerned with. That said, despite the arrivals of P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford, Kleber continues to have a routine role in the rotation. Unfortunately, he hasn't been productive, averaging just 5.2 points and 3.6 boards during the 2023-24 campaign.
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) is questionable to face the Pacers on Tuesday. After dealing with toe and nose issues, Kleber has now landed on the injury report with left knee soreness. He could miss out on a great opportunity to make noise, as Indiana is giving up the third-most points per game in the league (122.0) and is ranked 24th in rebounding rate (48.8). Kleber sees 20-plus minutes regularly, and his absence would give a good boost to the rest of the Mavericks bigs. P.J. Washington has been the best frontcourt asset from Dallas. He has posted 11.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 31.9 minutes since arriving from Charlotte.
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (toe, nose) is set to return to the lineup for Friday's battle with Boston. He skipped the second leg of a back-to-back on Wednesday versus Toronto. Despite the Mavericks getting frontcourt help in the form of P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford, Kleber has continued to see 20-plus minutes regularly. However, he's struggled to please fantasy managers, averaging only 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 22.2 minutes for the season.
