Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Knicks. He's been getting routine days off to rest, and with Boston sitting comfortably as the No. 1 team in the Eastern Conference, the C's may start resting their starters. But with Porzingis, Al Horford (toe), and Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) on the injury report versus New York, Luke Kornet may get his share of minutes at the five, giving him plenty of upside for DFS participants.
Boston Celtics centers Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) are both out for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The first-place Celtics will give their two top big men the night off on Tuesday, with their next opportunities to take the court arriving in Thursday's battle with the New York Knicks. Porzingis is simply having his right hamstring managed, and Horford is nursing a sprained left big toe. With that said, Luke Kornet has averaged 10.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 blocks in 30.1 minutes over five games as a member of Boston's starting lineup this season and would figure to join the first unit at the five in this one. Kornet should be a chalky DFS value play despite a matchup with a Bucks club allowing the eighth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers.
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday's clash with Milwaukee. The Celtics are the top team in the Eastern Conference standings by a mile, so there's a good chance Porzingis won't be on the floor. With Al Horford (toe) questionable, Luke Kornet and Xavier Tillman Sr. could be in line for more minutes underneath the rim. However, Kornet has a much higher fantasy upside, so DFS managers should keep him in mind if Porzingis and Horford don't suit up.
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) will play in Monday's contest against the Charlotte Hornets. Listed under right hamstring injury management on Boston's injury report, Porzingis has been upgraded to available. The 28-year-old Latvian All-Star is a set-and-forget fantasy bet any time he's active for the Celts, averaging 20.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.3 three-pointers, and 2.8 combined steals plus blocks across his latest 11 appearances. With more usage set to fall into his lap with Jaylen Brown (hand) out of action on Monday, KP could have a field day against an 18-56 Hornets team allowing the fifth-most FanDuel points to opposing centers this year. Note that Boston checks in as 17.5-point favorites in this one, which could affect the starters' minutes.
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) has been tagged as questionable due to right hamstring injury management. This has been a trend for the Celtics against weaker opponents. They seem to rest their starters or give their main rotation players a rest during games that aren't very important against the lesser teams. Boston has all but locked up the number-one seed in the East, so their top priority will be keeping everyone healthy for the playoffs. Porzingis has been one of the more injury-prone players, so fantasy managers will want to have either Al Horford or Xavier Tillman Sr. as a backup plan.
