Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (hamstring) remains out on Friday versus the Miami Heat. He's already missed two games because of a right hamstring strain. However, his questionable designation during the day on Friday suggests he's at least moving in a favorable direction. Nonetheless, with Eric Gordon (knee) also sidelined against Miami, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal should remain the primary offensive contributors for Phoenix. Additionally, there's room for Grayson Allen and Chimezie Metu to get more involved.
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Miami Heat. The All-Star forward is working his way back from a right hamstring strain. The good news is, Durant was able to get through a limited practice session on Thursday. That means, the veteran forward is trending in the right direction. If he plays, Chimezie Metu would lose basically all his streaming value. Devin Booker and Bradley Beal will be the focal points on offense until Durant is ready to play. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Friday for another update.
Phoenix Suns head coach Frank Vogel says that forward Kevin Durant (hamstring) went through a partial practice with no contact on Thursday as he manages the soreness in his right hamstring. Durant did sprint tests and is going through things with the medical staff ahead of Friday's home battle with the Miami Heat. The Suns and fantasy managers miss Durant's phenomenal productivity whenever he's off the hardwood, as KD is posting 29.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.2 three-pointers, and 2.0 combined steals and blocks per game in 2023-24. If Durant is not ready to return from a two-game absence on Friday, look for co-stars Devin Booker and Bradley Beal to dominate Phoenix's usage. Grayson Allen would also handle big minutes while Eric Gordon plays a featured role off the bench.
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Suns will rule him out a full day in advance as Durant will miss his second straight contest due to right hamstring soreness. It wouldn't be shocking to see the superstar forward will more time due to this issue. In the meantime, Chimezie Metu should remain in the starting five. He's coming off a 14-point performance during his last game. Metu is worth a look as a streaming option while Durant is out. Devin Booker and Bradley Beal will be the focal points on offense for Wednesday's game.
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (hamstring) was ruled out for their Monday night contest against the Portland Trail Blazers as he deals with right hamstring soreness. This could just be due to this being the second half of a back-to-back against an easier opponent, however, fantasy managers will want to monitor this because hamstring issues can linger for a long time. While he's out, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Grayson Allen will take on some more usage while Eric Gordon (questionable - calf) or Josh Okogie will likely move into the starting five. Allen, Gordon, and Okogie are the more available players across fantasy leagues while the former two would be the best streaming options in this scenario.
