Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (toe) has been upgraded from questionable to available on Monday and will play his first game since December 30. He's actually only played one game since December 18 due to the right-toe MP joint sprain he's been dealing with, so fantasy managers will welcome back a player of his caliber with open arms. Butler will slot back into the starting lineup especially with Jaime Jaquez Jr. (groin) ruled out for this contest. He may not have the same playmaking stats since Tyler Herro is also active. Butler has averaged 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.8 turnovers per game so far this year, and should be in every starting lineup regardless of league format.
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (toe) remains out for Sunday's matchup with Charlotte. He will now miss his sixth consecutive game because of a sprained toe, and although he appears to be trending favorably, it's anyone's guess when he will be back in the lineup. Kevin Love (knee) also won't suit up. However, Tyler Herro (shoulder), Caleb Martin (ankle), and Kyle Lowry (hand) are in the lineup versus the Hornets. Lowry and Martin are usually hit-or-miss fantasy options. On the other hand, Herro and Bam Adebayo should absorb most of the scoring chances on Sunday.
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (toe) is doubtful ahead of Sunday's clash with Charlotte. The 24-year-old continues to battle a sprained toe, an injury that's kept him out of the lineup for Miami's previous six contests. Tyler Herro (shoulder) and Kevin Love (knee) are questionable, meaning the Heat may rely on Duncan Robinson, Bam Adebayo, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. for most of the production on the scoring end, with the trio combining for 63 points in Friday's three-point win over the Orlando Magic. Fortunately, Kyle Lowry (hand) could be back, although managers can't trust him in any fantasy format.
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (toe) will be out for the fifth time in his last nine games when the team squares off with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. Butler is dealing with a right toe MP joint sprain, which he suffered on Dec. 30 in his first action back after a four-game absence due to strained calf. It's been an injury-plagued season for the 34-year-old two-way superstar, who has been limited to 24 games with averages of 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in 33.6 minutes per game. Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo will function as Miami's primary scoring threats for however long Butler remains on the shelf, with Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Duncan Robinson also absorbing more usage. Butler aims to return on Friday versus the Orlando Magic.
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (toe) remains out on Monday against the Houston Rockets. Fantasy managers didn't expect Butler to be out this long, although it's anyone's guess when he'll be back in the lineup. At any rate, without him, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro will remain the top offensive options versus Houston. But there's plenty of room for guys like Kevin Love, averaging 15.7 points in the last three games, and Duncan Robinson to stay more involved, especially if Caleb Martin (ankle) doesn't return.
