Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown struggled in the loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. He scored 10 points, shooting a rough 3-for-12 from the field and 1-for-5 from downtown. The 27-year-old had 30 points in Game 3 on Wednesday. However, he wasn't nearly as potent in Game 4. With the Celtics still up two games in the NBA Finals, both teams will head to Boston for Game 5 on Monday. Brown is due for a dominant performance, so DFS managers should keep him in mind for their lineups.
Boston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown had one of the best postseason performances of his career in Wednesday's Game 3 against the Mavericks, amassing 30 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and a block in a 106-99 win. While Jayson Tatum continues to struggle with his shooting in the Finals, Brown had his third straight effort with 50-plus percent shooting from the field, hitting 12-for-22, although he only managed to go 2-for-9 with the three-ball. The J's became the first Celtics duo to each record at least 30 points, five rebounds, and five assists in a Finals game. And after jumping to a 3-0 lead, it now appears to be only a matter of time before Boston closes out the series.
Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown scored 21 points in the win over the Mavericks on Sunday. He added seven assists, four rebounds, and six steals. This wasn't Brown's finest outing, considering he shot 1-for-5 from deep and committed six turnovers. However, he was good enough to help his team go up two games in the series. The 27-year-old averaged nearly 30 points in the Eastern Conference Finals. But he hasn't been as productive against Dallas. With that in mind, Brown is due for a big performance, giving him plenty of upside for DFS managers for Game 3 on Wednesday night.
Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown had a team-high 22 points in the win over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday evening. He added six rebounds, two assists, three steals, and three blocks. While Jayson Tatum is always the focal point for opposing defenses, Brown had another solid showing. There's no reason why that trend shouldn't continue for Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night, so DFS managers should keep him on the radar.
Boston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown was named the Eastern Conference Finals MVP on Monday after his squad completed a sweep against Indiana. Brown ended the series with a 29-point effort on 11-for-22 shooting while filling up the stat sheet in a 105-102 win with six rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block. He averaged 29.8 points in the series with 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals. In Game 2 of the series, Brown became the first player in Celtics history with multiple 40-point efforts in the Eastern Conference Finals. The 27-year-old didn't make any of the All-NBA teams this season, but he must be fired up by the snub and continues to play a hugely important role for Boston.
