Phoenix Suns guard/forward Devin Booker remained hot in Wednesday's matchup against Cleveland, producing 40 points on 13-for-25 shooting in a 122-101 win. He hit five of his nine attempts from outside and missed a double-double by only two assists while collecting one rebound and one steal in 37 minutes of playing time. Booker has now posted 92 points across his last two appearances, hitting a superb 13-for-25 from deep. Minnesota's tough defense will try to slow him down next before Booker has another face-off with the Pelicans, against whom he's scored 50-plus points in three consecutive games.
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (ankle) is available ahead of Monday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. As expected, Booker will play after being listed as probable coming into the game. Royce O'Neale will shift to the second unit, but will still be worth holding in deep leagues. The Suns are still without some players, which should give O'Neale more playing time off the bench. Fantasy managers should expect Booker to resume his normal role in the starting five for Monday's game.
Phoenix Suns guard/forward Devin Booker (ankle) appears ready to rejoin the action on Monday against Cleveland. The team has listed him as probable for the game. Booker has missed four contests with a right ankle sprain. Bradley Beal has had a strong stretch during his absence with extra usage, while Royce O'Neale has been logging minutes in the starting unit in his place. The Cavaliers are dealing with a number of injuries right now, meaning they could be easy prey for Booker on Monday night. The Suns star has posted 30-plus points twice in his past five appearances, averaging 28.0 points overall over the span.
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (ankle) was originally expected to miss 7-10 days with an ankle sprain, so it's not surprising that he's not supposed to play against the Boston Celtics on Saturday. Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reported that head coach Frank Vogel told the media that Booker is doubtful for this contest, so there's an outside chance he plays. With that being said, fantasy managers should still look for a backup plan which could be either Grayson Allen or Eric Gordon. Both should get plenty of opportunities without Booker's offense on the floor, but Allen has been looking like the most consistent option.
Phoenix Suns forward Royce O'Neale played 33 minutes in Sunday's 118-110 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, gathering nine points on 3-for-10 shooting, four assists, three rebounds, three three-pointers, and two blocks. Starting in place of the injured Devin Booker (ankle), O'Neale delivered the low-end goods fantasy managers have grown accustomed to over the veteran swingman's career. With Phoenix expecting Booker to miss at least the next week of play, O'Neale is someone nine-category managers should be prioritizing on waiver wires ahead of Tuesday's showdown against the Denver Nuggets. Across nine starts during 2023-24, the 30-year-old three-and-D wing is averaging 10.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.1 triples, and 2.4 combined steals plus blocks but faces a difficult task against a Nuggets squad that's surrendering the fewest fantasy points to opposing small forwards.
