Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (groin) will play on Thursday versus Milwaukee. The 25-year-old is averaging 24.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 40.7% shooting from behind the arc, all the highest marks of his career. Even better, he has appeared in 41 games, missing his first game of the 2024-25 campaign on Tuesday against the Trail Blazers. With Jimmy Butler (suspension) out again, Herro could see an uptick in scoring. The same can be said for Duncan Robinson, Nikola Jovic, Bam Adebayo, and Kel'el Ware.
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (groin) has been listed as probable for Thursday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. The team expects to get its top scorer back in the lineup after Herro missed his first game of the season on Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Terry Rozier had a quiet nine-point, three-assist outing as Herro's replacement in the starting unit on Tuesday. Herro makes a timely return, as Miami is once again going to be without Jimmy Butler (suspension) and will need as much firepower as possible against Giannis Antetokounmpo and his crew. This season's first clash against the Bucks did not go according to plan for Herro, who settled for 18 points on 4-for-15 shooting in a 106-103 loss on Nov. 26.
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler will sit out the rest of the week. Sources told ESPN's Shams Charania on Wednesday that Miami plans to suspend Butler for two more games for missing the team's flight to Milwaukee. Miami faces the Bucks on Thursday and visits the Nets on Saturday. Butler only recently returned from a seven-game team suspension for "multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team." Nikola Jovic went on a bit of a tear with Butler out of the lineup. Jaime Jaquez Jr.'s fantasy stock also receives a boost due to his absence.
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (groin) will sit out Tuesday's matchup against Portland. He will miss his first game of the season after being a late addition to the injury report due to tightness in his right groin. Terry Rozier and Alec Burks look set for larger roles in the rotation with Herro out, while his absence also opens up additional offensive usage for the likes of Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson.
Miami Heat centerKevin Love(personal) is available for Tuesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Love has only played one of the past four Heat contests due to personal reasons. The 36-year-old big man has only played 17 games this season, averaging 6.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists across 11.6 minutes per game. He won't have much of an impact in fantasy with Bam Adebayo healthy this evening.
