Santi Aldama Exits With Knee Problem

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Santi Aldama couldn't complete Monday's game against Toronto due to right knee soreness. He contributed 10 points, four rebounds, four assists, and one steal as a starter in 23 minutes. Aldama remained in the starting unit despite Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) being available again. The latter had two points and four rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench. Tillman Sr. didn't do too well on Monday, but he will be the likeliest man to cover for Aldama if the Spaniard needs to take some time off.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Scores 36 Points

Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. was seemingly unstoppable during Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Unfortunately, Jackson got into foul trouble otherwise it could've been a career game for him. Jackson was limited to 27 minutes, but still made the most of it. He shot 15-of-23 from the floor for 36 points, while recording three rebounds, and one assist in the loss. Fantasy managers will take the high scoring game, but he looks to do more as a rebounder and defender against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Questionable For Clash With Warriors

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) is considered questionable for Monday's matchup against Golden State. He's bothered by a right knee problem that has already kept Jackson Jr. out of the lineup twice in the last three games. With Memphis' season pretty much over already due to a number of injuries and bad results, it wouldn't be surprising to see the team keep Jackson Jr. off the court until he's fully healthy. The frontcourt injuries have made Xavier Tillman Sr. a very attractive fantasy piece, while GG Jackson also burst onto the scene at the weekend against the Knicks with a team-high 20 points and six rebounds off the bench.

Desmond Bane To Miss At Least Six Weeks

Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane (ankle) has been diagnosed with a grade 3 ankle sprain and the team announced that he will be re-evaluated in six weeks. This comes as a huge blow to the already depleted Grizzlies that will deal without Ja Morant (shoulder) for the rest of the season. Marcus Smart (finger) is also set to miss some time, so it seems Jacob Gilyard, Luke Kennard, David Roddy, Vince Williams Jr., and GG Jackson II will all see more time while the former four names should remain in the starting five like they did on Saturday. Williams, Gilyard, and Kennard seem to be good streaming candidates regardless of league size while Roddy and Jackson are better suited in deep leagues. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on Bane's status, because if the team is very far out of contention by the time Bane is able to return, they may think it isn't worth it.

Desmond Bane Won't Play Versus The Knicks

Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane (ankle) won't play on Saturday versus the New York Knicks. The 25-year-old logged 23 minutes on Friday versus the Clippers. However, his night ended because of a sprained ankle after stepping on Kawhi Leonard's foot near the end of the third quarter. It's a tough situation for Memphis, considering Ja Morant (shoulder) is done for the year, and Marcus Smart (finger) is sidelined for six weeks. Even worse, Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) isn't expected to suit up on Saturday night, meaning guys like David Roddy, Luke Kennard, Ziaire Williams, Vince Williams Jr., and Xavier Tillman Sr. should get all the minutes they can handle.
