Myles Turner Off Thursday’s Injury Report

The Indiana Pacers have removed center Myles Turner (illness) from the injury report ahead of Thursday's contest versus the Detroit Pistons. An illness held Turner out of Indy's final tilt before the All-Star break, but he's cleared to play in the first outing of their four-game homestand. The 27-year-old two-time blocks champion is in a great spot against Detroit, who are surrendering the fourth-most points per game (122.0) this season. Make sure Turner is inserted in all season-long fantasy lineups.

Aaron Nesmith Limited In Practice But Injury Not As Bad As Feared

Indiana Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith (lower leg) appears to have escaped serious injury. He hurt his right leg on an awkward fall following a dunk attempt in the team's final game before the All-Star break. Nesmith was limited in Tuesday's practice but could still be an option for Thursday's matchup against Detroit. "No update really other than not as bad as originally feared," Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said on Tuesday. "He was limited today. He's making significant progress each day. We'll see how he's doing in a couple days." If Nesmith can't play on Thursday, Doug McDermott and Bennedict Mathurin will have to step up.

Tyrese Haliburton Nails 10 Attempts From Deep In All-Star Game

Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton showed off incredible shooting form from downtown in Sunday's All-Star Game, sinking 10 of his 14 shots en route to 32 points. The game turned into a three-point barrage from both teams, and Haliburton set the tone early with five makes inside the opening four minutes of action. The 23-year-old thoroughly enjoyed his second career All-Star outing in front of home crowd in Indianapolis, adding seven rebounds and six assists to his line in 27 minutes. 2023-24 has been a monster year for Haliburton, and with him now back playing his regular minutes again after injury, we should see him shine very brightly over the final stretch.

Aaron Nesmith Hurts Right Leg In Wednesday's Win

Indiana Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith injured his right leg on Wednesday versus Toronto. He exited the contest early in the third quarter after landing awkwardly on a dunk attempt. Nesmith needed help to get to the locker room. The team called it a shin injury, but Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle suggested postgame that it could actually be an ankle injury. Nesmith reportedly walked out of the arena, so it's possible he managed to avoid serious injury. However, we won't know for sure before Indiana provides further updates. If he can't recover over the All-Star break, Carlisle will need to tweak his starting five, with Bennedict Mathurin (knee) and Doug McDermott getting more opportunities.

Tyrese Haliburton Back On The Injury Report

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game in Toronto. His presence on the injury report shouldn't come as a surprise to fantasy managers, considering he's been on it since returning from a lengthy absence caused by a hamstring strain. Undoubtedly, the ailment has negatively impacted the All-Star from a production standpoint. Fortunately, he's starting to ramp up his minutes slowly. With the All-Star break on the horizon, there's a good chance Haliburton will be back to his usual workload within the next week or two, so fantasy managers need to stay patient a little longer.
