Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) won't play on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans due to tightness in his left calf. His absence isn't surprising, as he was listed as doubtful earlier in the day. Payton II last suited up on Tuesday against the Lakers, registering nine points, one rebound, and one assist in 14 minutes. Extra minutes will be available for guards Klay Thompson, Chris Paul and Moses Moody in Fridays contest.
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (pelvis) is listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Kuminga played well, dropping 19 points with six rebounds during Thursday's game. However, it appears he picked up a pelvis contusion during the process. It's worth noting that Kuminga was filling in for Draymond Green (knee) who is now listed as probable for Friday. The return of Green means that Kuminga would move to the bench and would lose most of his streaming appeal anyway. Fantasy managers would have to check back closer to tip-off for more information.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (knee) is listed as probable ahead of Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The veteran forward sat out alongside guard Klay Thompson (knee) during Thursday's contest. However, head coach Steve Kerr mentioned beforehand that both players should be active for Friday. The return of Green should push Jonathan Kuminga out of the starting five. Kuminga won't have as strong of streaming appeal while playing off the bench. Fantasy managers should double check that status of Green and Thompson ahead of tip-off.
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) won't be in the lineup on Thursday against Portland. After being a late addition to the injury report, Payton II hasn't been able to get rid of tightness in his left calf to be available to play. Draymond Green (knee) and Klay Thompson (knee) are also on the shelf on Thursday, leaving Golden State a bit shorthanded. However, the team should still have enough quality to take care of business against a struggling Portland squad. There are more minutes available for Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody. Paul and Kuminga will join the starting five for the clash.
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) has been added to the injury report with a questionable tag a few hours before tipoff against Portland on Thursday. He's experiencing tightness in his left calf and might have to sit out Thursday's action after playing in 16 consecutive games. Draymond Green (knee) and Klay Thompson (knee) have already been ruled out, so we should see plenty of Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga on Thursday. Moses Moody will also have a chance to step up from the second unit if Payton II can't go.
