Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (ankle) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. Harris was experiencing soreness in his left ankle after Friday's game and had to sit out Saturday's home loss to the Utah Jazz, but the rest days in between seem to have been enough to get him back on the floor after a one-game respite. The 31-year-old fantasy stalwart has performed as advertised, hovering around the top-60 range yet again with solid averages of 16.9 points on 51.0% field-goal shooting, 6.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 three-pointers. Marcus Morris Sr. should head back to Philly's second unit on Wednesday, and Harris should act as the Sixers' complementary scoring option behind Tyrese Maxey with Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined.
An MRI performed on Monday on Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) confirmed a strained left knee, and he will be re-evaluated in seven to 10 days. Cunningham departed Sunday's matchup with the Denver Nuggets after 11 minutes of play with the injury, and The Athletic's Shams Charania reported on Monday night that he dodged a serious setback. The 3-33 Pistons' season probably can't get much worse, but they'll now be without their top playmaker for the next several contests. The 22-year-old former No. 1 overall pick is averaging a career-high 22.8 points on 44.9% shooting from the field, 7.3 assists, and 1.9 three-pointers but ranks fourth in the NBA with 3.8 turnovers in 34.5 minutes over 36 games. Killian Hayes and Jaden Ivey are set to serve as Detroit's primary facilitators for the time being, while Alec Burks and Marcus Sasser should handle more reserve minutes at the 1.
Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) has officially been ruled out of the team's game on Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings. Cunningham was forced to leave their last contest after hurting his knee and he was unable to return that night. Now, it looks like he'll be forced to miss at least one game in the process. Killian Hayes should be the one to move up into the starting lineup in Cunningham's place, but Jaden Ivey will likely be the one to add in fantasy lineups. Behind them, Marcus Sasser should see some minutes and Alec Burks could get some time in the backcourt as well.
Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse said forward Tobias Harris (ankle) and guard De'Anthony Melton (back) practiced on Monday. Robert Covington (illness) and Furkan Korkmaz (illness) were also seen at the session. Harris exited Friday's blowout loss to the New York Knicks early and is nursing soreness in his left ankle after missing Saturday's second half of a back-to-back. The versatile 31-year-old has some extra time to recover with the Sixers off until Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks. Melton, on the other hand, has missed three straight outings due to lumbar spine soreness, so his presence back on the court is certainly encouraging. Kelly Oubre Jr. has averaged 14.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 treys, and 1.2 steals in 14 starts for Philly this year and would likely continue to do so if one or both of Harris and Melton remain off the floor on Wednesday.
Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) suffered a left knee strain during the second quarter of Sunday night's game against the Denver Nuggets and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. Cunningham has been one of the lone bright spots for the Pistons and one of the few players who are consistently relevant in fantasy basketball on that team. If he has to miss extended time, Jaden Ivey becomes a must-start player with the increased usage in the starting lineup. After him, Alec Burks, Killian Hayes, and Marcus Sasser will all likely see increased minutes to fill in the void. Burks may be the best streaming option out of the three since he already receives more consistent minutes than the others.
