Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Portland Trail Blazers. Williams has been playing heavier minutes for Charlotte lately, but his status is up in the air with a right ankle sprain. Nick Richards is off the injury list to give them more depth at the center position. Reserves like Davis Bertans, JT Thor, Aleksej Pokusevski, and Marques Bolden will receive more minutes if injuries allow it. Williams averaged 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers on 57% shooting from the field over his most recent five games to make him a valuable fantasy option if cleared to play.

Charlotte Hornets forwards Miles Bridges (wrist) and Brandon Miller (wrist) are both questionable for Wednesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The injury-plagued 18-57 Hornets could be in serious trouble in this one, as their entire starting lineup could be watching from the sidelines. Bridges has a right wrist contusion, and Miller is dealing with a sprained wrist. It's anyone's guess who would benefit most from a fantasy perspective if one or both of the two forwards are out, but Davis Bertans and Aleksej Pokusevski would likely handle heavy minutes in the frontcourt and attract the attention of some fantasy managers as streamers in a soft matchup against the 19-58 Blazers. It's difficult to cast judgements on Charlotte's rotation at this time with such a deep injury report, though.

Detroit Pistons forward/center Taj Gibson (hamstring) won't be in the lineup against Memphis on Monday. The veteran has been downgraded from doubtful to out. Gibson likely wouldn't have seen time on the court anyway, as he's only played in one game for the Pistons since signing with the team on March 6. His next opportunity to play will come on Wednesday versus Atlanta.

Charlotte Hornets center Nick Richards (foot) has been downgraded from questionable to out for Monday's matchup against Boston. He'll be sidelined with right plantar fascia as Charlotte finishes off a back-to-back. Grant Williams will be brought into the starting unit as Richards' replacement. This will be a tough matchup for Williams against his former team, but he'll no doubt be eager to impress. The 25-year-old has averaged 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in four previous starts with the Hornets.

Dealing with right plantar fascia on the second leg of Charlotte's back-to-back, Richards is at risk of sitting out his first game since March 3 after playing 25 minutes in Sunday's home loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Celtics are gargantuan 17.5-point favorites on Monday and are allowing the fourth-fewest FanDuel to enemy centers, so the 26-year-old big man isn't going to be an exciting play if he suits up. Grant Williams may be needed to slide in at the five as a low-end fantasy streamer in a revenge game against Boston, averaging 14.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 threes in 28.5 minutes over his latest 10 games (one start).
