Brooklyn Nets guard Jacob Gilyard (hip) is considered probable for Friday's match-up against the New York Knicks. He has been bothered by a left hip contusion recently, but he should be able to suit up for this game. The 25-year-old was available for Wednesday's contest against the Toronto Raptors but never saw a minute of playing time. The last time Gilyard stepped onto the court was on March 27, only playing four minutes in that contest. He is not a consistent part of Brooklyn's rotation, so not much can be expected from him to close out the regular season.

Brooklyn Nets forward Dorian Finney-Smith (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's matchup against the New York Knicks. He has not played in the previous two contests because of left knee inflammation, and the injury will hold him out for another game. Noah Clowney is expected to continue to remain in the starting lineup and receive a heavy workload again, after playing at least 35 minutes in two consecutive games. Sunday's meeting against the Philadelphia 76ers will be the only opportunity for Finney-Smith to play again this season, as the Nets have been eliminated from playoff contention.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (toe) is questionable for Friday's meeting with the New York Knicks. The 28-year-old hasn't had the best season, averaging 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds, both down from the 2022-23 campaign. He's also missed a lot of time due to various ailments, which was a source of frustration for fantasy participants. At any rate, with Dorian Finney-Smith (knee) out, Noah Clowney, coming off a 10-point, seven-block outing in Wednesday's win over Toronto, should see plenty of work. But if Johnson gets ruled out, Jalen Wilson and Trendon Watford would emerge as viable value options for DFS managers.

Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (toe) is ready to rejoin the action on Wednesday against the Raptors. He will jump back into the lineup after missing two games with a toe sprain. Dorian Finney-Smith's (knee) absence should secure Johnson his 48th start of the season. Johnson has averaged 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in the first unit in 2023-24. He went close to a double-double in his only previous start against Toronto this season. With Nicolas Claxton (ankle) also back in the fold, Trendon Watford, Noah Clowney, and Jalen Wilson will need to worry about their minutes.

Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (ankle) will return to the court on Wednesday versus Toronto. He missed Sunday's blowout loss to Sacramento with an ankle sprain. Noah Clowney looks set to relinquish his spot in the starting unit, although he could still play a fairly significant role off the bench. It's a good matchup for Brooklyn's big men against a team that's poorly equipped under the rim. Only five teams allow more points to opposing centers than the Raptors, who also struggle in the rebounding department.
