Atlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) has been listed as probable to play on Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 26-year-old has only played 28 out of a possible 51 games so far this year after missing extended time due to a knee injury, but he has played four out of the team's last five games. He remains on a minutes restriction, but in their last contest, he played 23 minutes and posted 10 points, one rebound, one assist, and one turnover. Hunter could be more of a fantasy asset once he receives more minutes, but his production is going to be very inconsistent as long as he's on this restriction. He does play a big part in the Hawks' defense though.
The Atlanta Hawks are listing forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) as available for Wednesday's tilt against the Boston Celtics. The Hawks have upgraded Hunter's probable designation to available as they continue to monitor his right knee, which cost the forward over a month of action before returning on Jan. 30. Boston has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing forwards in 2023-24, so between the intimidating matchup and Hunter's likely minutes cap, he's a fade for fantasy purposes in all settings on Wednesday despite popping for 27 points in 19 minutes amid Monday's offensive slugfest with the Los Angeles Clippers. When the restrictions are lifted, the 26-year-old scoring wing should be a borderline play in points leagues, averaging 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.9 three-pointers on 40.5% shooting from downtown in 28.8 minutes through 27 games on the campaign for Atlanta.
Atlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) is on the injury report as questionable ahead of Monday's action versus the Clippers. The 26-year-old has just returned from a 19-game absence, and the team is trying to manage his right knee injury. Hunter sat out the first leg of a back-to-back on Friday versus Phoenix before returning to the court on Saturday against Golden State. He's been limited to 16 minutes in both of his outings since the long injury layoff, meaning fantasy managers won't currently get much value from Hunter.
According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (groin) will be sidelined for up to 10 days. The 29-year-old has played as well as expected this season, averaging 11.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks. He suffered the injury during Saturday's win over the Warriors, so he could miss at least five games. Of course, Onyeka Okongwu will likely take his spot in the rotation. Okongwu has averaged 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in three starts in 2023-24, meaning he'll be a fine addition to any fantasy lineup. There's also room for Bruno Fernando to get more work, although he's not a reliable fantasy performer.
Atlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Golden State Warriors. The Hawks are considering Hunter as questionable after he sat out of Friday's game. The expectation is that Hunter will play Saturday after resting his right knee the night prior. The Hawks are without Saddiq Bey (ankle) for Saturday's game. That means, Hunter would likely slide into the starting five, assuming he's available for this game. He'd have increased fantasy value if able to suit up.
