Marcus Mariota Tallies 194 Yards In Week 18

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 13 of 20 passes for 148 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while adding six carries for 46 yards and a fumble during Sunday's 10-27 loss to the New York Giants. Jalen Hurts (finger) looked like he would exit the game due to his injury but came back in before being pulled by the coaching staff once the game was out of reach. Mariota did his best with the weapons he had, but all of the Eagles starting skill players outside of Dallas Goedert were out of the game. The extent of Hurts' injury is unknown, but since he already returned to this game and was throwing the ball, it is hard to imagine that he will sit out next week when the Eagles travel to Tampa Bay.

Marcus Mariota Takes Over For Jalen Hurts

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Marcus Mariota took over for Jalen Hurts (finger) in Sunday's AFC East clash with the Giants. New York is up big currently, so Hurts, who suffered a gruesome finger injury, isn't expected to return for the rest of the contest. If that's the case, he'll finish with 55 yards and a pick off 7-for-16 passing. Nonetheless, Hurts managed to return briefly after sustaining the injury. However, he'll likely carry an injury designation ahead of the Eagles' first postseason contest. Philadelphia needs Hurts in the lineup, considering Mariota threw a pick on his first pass attempt of the day.

Jeff Driskel Throws Two Touchdowns In Week 18

Cleveland Browns quarterback Jeff Driskel completed 13 of his 26 passes for 166 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in a 31-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18. Driskel also added seven rushes for 33 yards in his first career start for the Browns. Both of Driskel's touchdown passes went to David Bell in the loss to the Bengals. Driskel will return to a reserve role when the Browns face off against the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round of the playoffs next week.

Jeff Driskel A Low-End QB2 In Week 18

Cleveland Browns quarterback Jeff Driskel was just signed to the active roster on Dec. 29 but will be starting against the Cincinnati Bengals in the Week 18 regular-season finale. Driskel will get the call with Cleveland already locked into the No. 5 seed in the AFC and opting to rest several starters including Joe Flacco. Driskel hasn't played in a game since Week 18 of the 2022 season but he will be out there against a Cincinnati defense that is allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. Driskel is in play as a low-end QB2 with some appeal as a cheap option as a dart throw in DFS tournaments this weekend.

Brian Robinson Jr. A Low-End RB2 In Week 18

After looking solid in his return from injury, Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. will aim for a strong performance to close out his second NFL season. This week, the Commanders are taking on the Dallas Cowboys. While that isn't a great matchup for Washington, Dallas hasn't been the best at stopping the run, especially in recent weeks. Considering Robinson looked pretty good against a strong San Francisco 49ers run defense last week, there is a chance that he has a decent game against the Cowboys. The second-year pro is a low-end RB2 with upside in Week 18.
