Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White rushed 18 times for 72 yards and caught one of his three targets for three yards in the 32-9 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Monday's Wild Card contest. White remained a high-volume running back in this spot, but he did not find the end zone, resulting in a down fantasy and DFS performance. Next week, he'll go on the road to face the Detroit Lions, who surrendered the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs during the regular season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 22 of his 36 passing attempts for 337 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in the Wild Card win over the Philadelphia Eagles. He earned his second career playoff win and a trip to the Divisional Round to face the Detroit Lions. Detroit surrendered the second-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks during the regular season, setting Mayfield up for another potential big game on Sunday. He failed to throw a touchdown in the Week 6 meeting at Tampa Bay, so he'll hope to turn it around this time.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ankle, ribs), who was questionable to play in Monday night's wild-card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles, is officially active. Mayfield tweaked his ankle in Week 18 against the Carolina Panthers but was able to practice last week and was fully expected to play in the first round of the playoffs. The 28-year-old is one of the tougher QBs in the league and had the best season of his career in his first year in Tampa, but he's heading into this contest with two straight down performances. Mayfield certainly won't be 100 percent on Monday night, but he has a great chance for a bounce-back performance in the wild-card playoff game against an Eagles defense that has seen a big decline in all aspects after making a Super Bowl run last year.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ankle, ribs) is currently listed as questionable ahead of Monday's playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Mayfield has been dealing with a ribs issue for some time now but recently picked up an ankle injury. He was able to hobble his way through the regular season finale but didn't look like himself. Mayfield was a limited participant during Friday's practice but is still expected to suit up for this game. However, it's unknown what version of Mayfield we're going to get in this game. He probably won't be fully healthy, which means he'll be a risky DFS option. Although, even a banged up Mayfield is still a better option than having Kyle Trask under center.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ankle, ribs) is listed as questionable heading into Monday's Wild-Card contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. The veteran signal-caller didn't participate in walkthrough on Thursday and was a limited participant during Friday's practice. He comes into this game dealing with two nagging injuries. Mayfield hobbled his way through the regular season finale, but he didn't look too good on the field. There is no doubt that Mayfield will want to play in this postseason contest. However, it remains to be seen if he's physically able to suit up. If active, Mayfield would be a risky DFS option given that he's unlikely to be at 100 percent. Otherwise, Kyle Trask would be under center for the Bucs, which would be a huge downgrade for this offense.
