Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers received plenty of attention from the Cincinnati Bengals' defense on Thursday night. Flowers received the third-most targets with six of them and finished with four receptions for 34 yards. A lot of his opportunities were short-to-mid throws which explains the average of 8.4 yards per catch. While the defense keyed on Flowers, the other pass-catchers got free for plenty of yards and touchdowns. The speedy wideout will look to bounce back against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has gained some momentum over the past couple of weeks and now has three weeks with finishes in WR1 territory. He also has two more finishes as a WR2, but now has more competition for targets with Diontae Johnson getting integrated into the offense a bit further. While Johnson only played in 30% of the snaps in Week 9, that will likely increase in Week 10 against the Bengals. Flowers surpassed the 100-yard mark against the Bengals in Week 5 and this game has the makings of another shootout just like their 41-38 contest. So, he should still have WR2 potential.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers posted his first multi-score game of the season and broke the century mark in a 41-10 blowout over the Denver Broncos. The speedy wideout finished the game with 127 yards, two touchdowns, five receptions, and six targets. He was able to get open at all different levels of the field and was able to shed tacklers in the process. Flowers' longest play of the day was a 53-yard score where he caught the ball in the middle of the field, broke a tackle, and outran the rest of the defense. He'll look to continue this momentum in Week 10 against their AFC North foes the Cincinnati Bengals.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has been the No. 1 target in most games this season but now has some more competition for targets. Diontae Johnson enters the fold and will undoubtedly command some more targets than Nelson Agholor did. In the first week since the trade, however, Flowers should lead Baltimore's pass-catchers in targets. He'll have to go up against Patrick Surtain II and the Denver Broncos defense, who give up the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing receiver groups. Flowers should have some more value in PPR formats but isn't likely to be a WR1 given the tougher matchup.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers overcame his ankle injury to suit up for Week 8 and he delivered yet another 100-yard performance. In the 29-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns, he ended up with seven receptions for 115 yards on 12 targets. He didn't see any work in the ground game on this one, but he remained Lamar Jackson's top target out of all the pass-catchers. Flowers has tremendous value in PPR formats as he's posted three WR1 performances and had two without scoring a touchdown. He'll look to find the end zone in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
