Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft returned to the scoring column in Week 7 and looks to repeat that this week as the Packers head down to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars in Week 8. Kraft caught a touchdown pass to save his week in Week 7 where he had three receptions for 33 yards on four targets. He's been excellent for fantasy managers over the past month, as since Week 4, Kraft has been the overall TE3 in fantasy points per game with two overall TE1 weeks in Week 4 and Week 5. Sometimes, it can be difficult for Kraft to stand out in a crowded pass-catching group that the Packers have, but he's reliably on the field a ton and is targeted plenty by quarterback Jordan Love. Against the Jaguars, Kraft should have less resistance than in most matchups as Jacksonville has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the tight end position. Kraft is a TE1 in Week 8 in a game where passing volume could be very high between both the Packers and Jaguars.
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft provided a quality game, highlighted by a touchdown catch in the team's 24-22 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 7. Kraft disappointed fantasy managers in Week 6 following the two consecutive weeks where he had been the overall TE1, but Kraft found the end zone in the second quarter for the first Packers touchdown of the game. Kraft caught 3-of-4 targets for 33 yards and a 14-yard touchdown grab that saw him lay out in the end zone to make the catch. It's a battle every week amongst the Packers' pass-catchers and with so many quality targets for quarterback Jordan Love, Kraft has been solidly involved more often than not. With the Packers heading to Jacksonville with a Week 8 matchup against the Jaguars, Kraft should be considered a low-end fantasy TE1.
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (groin) came off the Packers' final injury report after turning in three limited practices and is good to go as Green Bay takes on the Houston Texans in Week 7. After two consecutive overall TE1 performances in Weeks 4-5, Kraft came back down to earth with just two receptions for 13 yards in the Packers' win over the Cardinals. Kraft's down game had to do with the returning options back for the Packers, as Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson both came back to combine for three touchdowns. With so many weapons in tow for the Packers, Kraft's floor may be a bit lower than we'd like, but those two weeks where he was overall TE1 show the potential when he is targeted. Because of how shallow tight end is in fantasy, Kraft is a low-end TE1 against the Texans this week.
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (groin) was listed as a limited practice participant for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Kraft dealt with a groin injury during practice last week but managed to suit up for the Week 6 win over the Arizona Cardinals while playing 81% of the offensive snaps. The 23-year-old disappointed fantasy managers looking for a second straight big performance, as he caught just two of his four targets for a season-low 13 yards. Kraft scored three total touchdowns the previous two games, but this is a reminder that he's a volatile low-end TE1 for fantasy managers in an offense with a lot of mouths to feed through the air as long as Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks are all healthy. Barring a setback, Kraft should be active this Sunday against the Houston Texans.
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (groin) was listed as limited in the team's first practice of the week. Kraft popped up on Green Bay's injury report last Thursday with a groin injury, logging two limited sessions before suiting up for the Packers' Week 6 win over the Cardinals. The 23-year-old played a full complement of snaps (82%), though he disappointed with his performance, catching 2-of-4 targets for just 13 yards -- a season-low output -- as is the case sometimes in a deep Rolodex of competent Packers' skill players. However, his designation for the following two practices will be telling about his status ahead of Week 7's home tilt against the Houston Texans. If Kraft plays, he could be in store for a busy day with a litany of Packers' wideouts dinged up this week. If he can't, tight end Ben Sims would likely handle most of the TE duties with Luke Musgrave (ankle) on injured reserve.
