Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts (hamstring) continued to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday, according to Daniel Flick of The Observer. The young tight end was also tending to this injury on Wednesday and could be in danger of missing this weekend's game if he is unable to return to full participation on Friday. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Friday's injury report, as it may provide some clarity on his status heading into the weekend. Even though Pitts caught just one pass last weekend, he has been one of the most productive tight ends over the past month, averaging a solid 16.1 PPR points per game during Weeks 5 through 8. If Pitts is able to suit up, he should be locked into all lineups as a solid TE1 facing the New Orleans Saints.

He is on pace for his most receiving yards since his rookie season and he has already matched his previous career high in touchdown receptions. Pitts should be able to keep his momentum rolling in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. He could be in line for even more targets with wide receiver Drake London (hip) battling his own injury.

Even with Drake London exiting with an injury early on in the game, it was surprising to see Pitts get targeted just one time all game. After four straight weeks of 65 or more yards receiving and at least three receptions, the 24-year-old reverted to his status of non-factor in the offense. If Drake London were to miss time, his targets could be up for grabs which could be good for Pitts, but he'll face the Saints in Week 10, the same team that held him without a catch in Week 4 despite allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to TEs so far this year. It appears he'll return to the back-end, volatile TE1 range next week.

Since logging a zero-catch performance in Week 4, the 24-year-old has had no less than five targets in the last four games, averaging around 79 yards receiving per game over that time. It feels like he's secured a solid role in this offense now, although, with a 15.95% target share, he's a distant third in the pecking order behind Drake London (26.72%) and Darnell Mooney (22.84%). Dallas has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to TEs, and while Pitts hasn't yet shed the potential for bust weeks, the former first-round draft pick still ranks as a TE1 in this matchup.

After failing to catch a pass in Week 4, Pitts has averaged five catches for 79 yards in the four weeks since. In Week 9, the Falcons will take on the Cowboys who had been solid defending TEs prior to Sunday when they allowed George Kittle to log a 6-128-1 line. Regardless, Pitts is still likely a TE1 for fantasy, and he has hopefully put some of the volatility behind him.
