The 24-year-old didn't realize he had a significant injury in the loss to the Packers and finished out the game with three catches for 41 yards on four targets. Kmet has played in every single game so far in his four years in the NFL, and he finished last season with career-highs in catches (73) and receiving yards (719) while scoring six touchdowns in 17 games played. His fantasy outlook as a TE1 for the 2024 season will depend on what the Bears brass decides to do at the quarterback position. If they decide to move on from Justin Fields, Kmet will most likely be working with a rookie signal-caller.

In the season opener against Green Bay, Kmet had five catches on seven targets for 44 yards. Consider him a risky low-end, touchdown-dependent TE1 in fantasy for the Bears' final game of the season at Lambeau Field.
