New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (abdomen) suffered a new rib injury in Week 4 versus the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Dennis Allen emphasized that while this injury is in a similar location as the chest injury that sidelined him in Week 3, this is a new issue unrelated to his previous ailment. It's unfortunate that Hill has struggled to stay healthy early in the year given the element of excitement and versatility he brings to the offense. The 34-year-old ultimately rushed for 24 yards and two touchdowns before exiting Sunday's game, showcasing his impressive ability to find the end zone and deliver major production to fantasy managers deploying him at the tight end position. If Hill is healthy going forward, he'll rank as a low-end TE1 based on his rushing and touchdown upside.
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ribs) finished Sunday's loss to the Falcons by totaling 77 yards and a touchdown off 19 carries. He added seven catches for 42 yards. The veteran had an injury designation heading into the contest, so his status for Week 4 was a cause of concern for fantasy managers. Interestingly enough, Kamara revealed he played with broken ribs, although not getting on the field versus the Falcons "was never a consideration." He has been one of the top fantasy backs during the 2024-25 campaign so far. However, fantasy managers should consider adding Jamaal Williams and Taysom Hill (where available) in case Kamara's condition takes a turn in the wrong direction ahead of the Week 5 matchup in Kansas City.
New Orleans Saints utility player Taysom Hill (abdomen) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. He had six rushes for 24 yards and two touchdowns at the time of his departure. Hill has been able to inject an element of life into the Saints' offense numerous times throughout his career, so losing him is bad news for New Orleans. With that said, the Saints will still be able to run the ball effectively thanks to the impact of Alvin Kamara out of the backfield. Kamara and Jamaal Williams should handle all rushing duties for the Saints until Hill is healthy enough to play again.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (hamstring) and running back Alvin Kamara (hips, ribs) are both active ahead of the Week 4 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. As expected, both players will suit up and will resume their roles as focal points on this offense. Kamara has been nearly unstoppable through the first three games and remains an elite RB1 for Week 4. Olave has 12 receptions for 178 yards and one touchdown through the first three weeks. He's coming off back-to-back 80-yard performances and needs to be in fantasy leagues in Week 4.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (hamstring) is currently listed as questionable ahead of the Week 4 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The star wideout was a late addition to the injury report after suffering a hamstring injury during Friday's practice. Despite that, the Saints are confident that Olave will suit up for this game. He plans to test out his hamstring during pre-game warmups before the team makes a final decision. Rashid Shaheed would be more involved if Olave sits out, but it sounds like Olave is trending in the right direction. There is always risk of re-injury, especially with a hamstring issue, but fantasy managers need to play Olave if he's active.
