Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring) put in a second straight day with a full practice on Wednesday after the Chiefs held him out of the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers as a precaution. The 23-year-old probably could have played last week, but the Chiefs chose to hold their leading receiver out in a meaningless game. He'll return for this Saturday's wild-card contest versus the visiting Miami Dolphins and their beat up defense. Rice will be pretty attractive at his $6,600 DraftKings price as quarterback Patrick Mahomes' top target (besides Travis Kelce). The Dolphins will be without cornerback Xavien Howard (foot) and potentially two of their safeties as well for this one.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling (oblique) was also a full participant. The Chiefs chose to rest their leading receiver in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers with the No. 3 seed already locked up. After a slow start in his rookie campaign, the 23-year-old eventually became quarterback Patrick Mahomes' go to receiver, other than tight end Travis Kelce. He finished with 79 receptions, 938 yards and seven touchdowns and will be plenty attractive in DFS with a DraftKings price of $6,600 while going up against a banged-up Dolphins secondary in wild-card weekend. Valdes-Scantling should be ignored.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) was listed as a full participant in the team's first practice of the week on Tuesday. Pacheco didn't practice in full at all last week but was active for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, with the Chiefs already locked into the No. 3 seed, Pacheco didn't play any snaps as a precaution. The 24-year-old missed three of the team's final five games, although he did go off for 18 carries for 130 yards in Week 17. At his $6,400 price tag on DraftKings for wild-card weekend, Pacheco will be an attractive DFS play while going up a Dolphins defense that has been decimated by injuries at the tail end of the 2023 season. Pacheco was one of KC's primary offensive weapons during the regular season and should continue to be so in the playoffs as the Chiefs look to defend their Super Bowl title.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. paced the team in receiving yardage during Week 18's 13-12 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, gathering six of his 11 targets for 77 yards. Hardman ended up being the most significant beneficiary of K.C. holding Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce out of action for a contest with no consequence, generating more yardage in this matchup alone than he had coming into play in 10 appearances this season (47). It was certainly a positive takeaway for the 25-year-old deep threat, who may have earned a bit more playing time in the postseason for a Chiefs offense desperate for playmaking down the field. Hardman will still carry nothing greater than dart-throw DFS status for next weekend's Wild Card round, with Rice and Kelce certainly returning to the field on Saturday versus the Miami Dolphins.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Carson Wentz got the start and produced in the team's 21-20 win against the San Francisco 49ers. Wentz completed 17 of his 24 pass attempts for 163 yards and two touchdowns through the air. He also rushed the ball an alarming 17 times for 56 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The veteran QB started in place of Matthew Stafford as a result of the team clinching a playoff berth. While Wentz will not get on the field unless Stafford suffers an injury in their playoff matchup with the Detroit Lions, he proved that he can still perform at a moderately high level.
