Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (hip) was productive during Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans, catching all four of his targets for 58 yards. He exited with a hip injury late in the game and was deemed questionable to return but did not register a target in the fourth quarter. Depending on the status of Woods and teammate Noah Brown (hip), the former has a chance to operate as the Texans' No. 2 receiver next week. If so, he would warrant some WR3/FLEX appeal in deeper fantasy leagues.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs continued to fail to show up in the box score in Sunday's 27-21 victory over the New England Patriots, catching four of his seven targets for 26 yards. The Bills tried to get Diggs involved early on an end-around inside the red zone, but he couldn't slip past defenders into the end zone. That was the closest Diggs would come to making a big impact in Week 17, as it was another nondescript showing to add to his recent downturn. The 30-year-old All-Pro looked spry during his frenetic start to the year, but he limped to fantasy's finish line with 30 receptions for 262 yards and one touchdown over his last seven games. Diggs went off for a massive 6/120/3 receiving line when Buffalo last met the Miami Dolphins, who Diggs will face in Week 18's AFC East-deciding affair, but it may be too late for season-long managers who sought a big score out of him against the Patriots.
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon had 65 yards off 21 attempts in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. He added four catches for 22 yards and a touchdown. The 27-year-old didn't do much to benefit fantasy managers in the Week 16 meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he certainly made up for it versus Kansas City, scoring his tenth touchdown of the 2023-24 campaign. Unfortunately, the Bengals' hopes of a postseason appearance were crushed after the loss, so there's a chance Mixon won't be on the field for the Week 18 divisional clash with the Cleveland Browns.
