C.J. Stroud Carries Texans Into Playoffs

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud led a key fourth-quarter drive to secure a playoff berth in the team's 23-19 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Stroud was almost perfect on Saturday, completing 20-of-26 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns. The rookie started the game on fire after connecting with Nico Collins for a 75-yard touchdown on Houston's first offensive snap. He then led a 12-play, 73-yard drive late in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. Stroud will look to carry that momentum into the playoffs next week.

Robert Woods Declared Inactive For Week 18

Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (groin) has been ruled out ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. This doesn't come as much of a surprise given Woods was considered questionable heading into this game. The Texans will be shorthanded at wideout with Noah Brown (back) joining Woods on the sideline. That means, Nico Collins, Xavier Hutchinson, and John Metchie III figure to start this game. Between the three, Collins is the only reliable option and should see a ton of looks during this must-win Saturday night matchup.

Joe Mixon Closes Out A Strong Year Versus Cleveland

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (illness) doesn't carry an injury designation ahead of the Week 18 encounter with the Browns. Mixon hasn't hit the 100-yard rushing mark in any game this season. However, he's totaled 10 touchdowns, finding the end zone in eight of his previous 10 games. With the Bengals not going to the playoffs, the former Sooner may not see a full workload. But he has an excellent chance of finding the end zone even if he doesn't log a full 60 minutes against a Browns defense that could rest or limit some of their starters on the defensive end. Mixon also needs just 77 rushing yards for 1,000. As a result, head coach Zac Taylor may allow Mixon to stay out there to attempt to hit that mark for the fourth time in his career, which keeps him in play for any fantasy format.

Stefon Diggs Hopes To Put Rough Patch To Bed

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs' late-season slump has some questioning his health heading into Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Miami Dolphins. Ever since hitting Week 10's injury report as a late addition with back soreness, Diggs just hasn't been the same after a wild nine-game start saw him average 7.8 receptions (10.8 targets) for 92.7 yards with seven total touchdowns. In seven outings since Week 10, however, the 30-year-old three-time Pro Bowler is managing just 4.3 catches (7.9 targets) for 37.4 yards with only one score. Diggs enjoyed his best game of the campaign against Miami in early October, rattling the Fins for a 6/120/3 receiving line. With star cornerback Xavien Howard (foot) out in Week 18, it puts Diggs at risk of facing shadow coverage from superstar Jalen Ramsey. Diggs is more of a midrange WR2 with some contrarian appeal in DFS tournaments due to his recent woes.

Dalton Schultz A TE1 Option In Week 18

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz will look to rebound in Week 18 against the Indianapolis Colts. Schultz wasn't utilized much in last week's win over the Tennessee Titans, catching just two passes for 19 yards. But a better game could be in store on Saturday. The Colts have allowed at least five catches to tight ends in 12 of 17 games this season. In Week 2, though, the 27-year-old playmaker only caught four passes for 34 yards. However, with many key tight ends sitting out in Week 18, Schultz is a solid TE1 option.
