NFL FanDuel Slate Breakdown: Week 11

Share

Week 11 is arguably the best NFL DFS slate of the year so far in terms of important games, with the AFC being front and center. We have the Bills hosting the Chiefs, the Steelers hosting the Ravens, and the nightcap is the Chargers hosting the Bengals. These games have some major implications for the postseason so let’s see how they measure up in fantasy.

Quarterbacks

Studs

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions ($8,300)

I don’t have a lot of motivation to spend up at the quarterback position this week. That’s not to say that Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen won’t have good games, but they have reasonably tough matchups. For Allen, he’s still missing pieces in his offense as well. Instead, I’ll look to a player like Jared Goff. He may not have a ton of attention on him after Sunday night saw him throw five interceptions. This is a strong bounceback spot if the Lions want to get him rolling. Jacksonville leads the league in attempts faced in a Cover-2 defense while Goff has a passer rating of over 91.5 in the past two seasons against it. The Jaguars are also dead last in DVOA against the pass and DVOA-adjusted points allowed to the position. The only fear is Detroit just steamrolls them and runs the ball 30-plus times, but if you believe that you can just play one of Jahmyr Gibbs or David Montgomery.
