Washington Wizards center Richaun Holmes (toe) is questionable for Friday's matchup with Portland. He's already missed four games because of a toe injury, and things aren't looking promising regarding his availability against the Blazers. With Marvin Bagley III (knee) out, Tristan Vukcevic, averaging 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in the last two games, would warrant DFS consideration if Holmes remains sidelined.
Washington Wizards center Marvin Bagley III (knee) won't suit up for Friday's meeting with the Trail Blazers. Despite battling various ailments since arriving in Washington, Bagley has played well, averaging 13.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. He's considered week-to-week, meaning his year is likely over. But with Richaun Holmes (toe) questionable for Friday night, Tristan Vukcevic, who had 15 points, three boards, and one block on Wednesday against the Lakers, could enter the DFS value conversation.
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) is ruled out for Friday's game versus the Portland Trail Blazers. Kuzma will miss his third of the last four games due to a right ankle sprain. Washington cleared Kuzma to play in their most recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he tweaked his ankle after 39 minutes of action. Corey Kispert is the biggest benefactor of Kuzma missing the game, especially with averages of 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.0 three-pointers over the past nine games. Reserves Eugene Omoruyi and Justin Champagnie also get extra minutes in games without Kuzma as the Wizards inch to the finishing line of a woeful regular season.
Washington Wizards small forward Kyle Kuzma (heel) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game versus the Los Angeles Lakers. A right-heel contusion has cost Kuzma the last two games, but the offensive-minded forward is cleared to return to Washington's lineup in a revenge game against his former Lakers team. Although Kuzma remains a points-league preference in fantasy due to a high rate of turnovers and shaky free-throw shooting, he's averaging 23.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.9 threes in 34.9 minutes covering 17 games post-All-Star break for the Wiz. Start the 28-year-old in all season-long points formats against LA, a team that is surrendering the fourth-most threes (3.0) to enemy small forwards.
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (back) remains out for Tuesday's clash with the Bucks. He's been in and out of the lineup over the last few weeks. But with Washington unable to make the postseason, that trend will likely continue throughout the Wizards' remaining eight games. With that said, Jordan Poole, who scored 22 points off 20 shot attempts in Sunday's loss to Miami, remains an ideal DFS option. At the same time, Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert also warrant attention from fantasy managers without Kuzma on the floor.
