Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (back) won't play against the Kings on Sunday. He will be out of the lineup for the ninth time in 10 games. Keyonte George and Collin Sexton will continue to carry the backcourt without Clarkson, with a bit of Kris Dunn and Johnny Juzang mixed in between them. This game could produce some ridiculous fantasy lines, as both teams play an up-tempo style and don't focus too much on defense.
Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) won't be available for Sunday's matchup against Sacramento. He comes out of the lineup with back spasms, missing only his seventh contest of the year. Collins had a tough start in Salt Lake City but has played well in recent months as Utah's starting center. Walker Kessler will be in line to fill the role on Sunday. Kessler has taken a step back this season, but a starting role and a chance to log some extra playing time will boost his fantasy value. In 20 previous starts this season, the American giant has averaged 9.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in 26.5 minutes.
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (hip) will not play on Friday against the Houston Rockets due to left SI pain. The SI joint can cause pain to radiate to the back, hip, and rear areas. This will be Clarkson's eighth missed game over the last nine contests because of this issue. Clarkson has played well when he has the chance to take the court, but with the team looking to rack up higher picks, Clarkson just hasn't fit the timeline. While he remains sidelined, the youth movement will continue with Keyonte George and Collin Sexton staying in the starting lineup while Kris Dunn returns from suspension and gets a reserve role.
Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (shoulder) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Rockets. The Jazz are already eliminated from postseason contention, so the 2017 No. 7 overall pick might get another night off to avoid further injury. Markannen's most recent absence was when these clubs met nearly a week ago. Johnny Juzang got the start in that one. However, Brice Sensabaugh logged 27 minutes from the bench and finished with 16 points, four boards, and four assists, making him an ideal DFS value option if Markkanen isn't in the lineup on Friday night.
Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (quadriceps) is available for Wednesday's tilt versus the San Antonio Spurs. A right quadriceps contusion continues to plague Markkanen, but the All-Star forward will suit up for the 29-43 Jazz against a Spurs club that could be missing Rookie of the Year favorite and defensive menace Victor Wembanyama (ankle) on Wednesday. San Antonio already owns the seventh-worst defensive efficiency rating (114.9) in the league. Make sure Markkanen is inserted in all fantasy lineups, as he's averaging a robust 25.5 points, 6.5 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 3.0 triples covering four performances in the month of March, but Utah could hand him random maintenance days down the stretch.
