Utah Jazz guard Collin Sexton (illness) has been downgraded to questionable before Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets due to an illness. It won't be a surprise if Sexton doesn't suit up since the Jazz are out of playoff contention, but it will be a game-time call. The 25-year-old has had an impressive run, most recently averaging 20.4 points in his last eight outings.
Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) will skip a fifth consecutive game on Tuesday versus Denver. He's battling back spasms and will get his next chance to return on Thursday against Houston. Utah is also currently without the services of Walker Kessler (nose), which has given Omer Yurtseven an opportunity to make back-to-back starts. Meanwhile, Darius Bazley and Johnny Juzang have gotten heavy usage off the bench. All three could offer fantasy value on Tuesday, although it's a very tough matchup for the struggling Jazz squad.
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (pelvis) is out for Tuesday's meeting with the Nuggets. The 31-year-old has been sidelined for 12 of Utah's previous 13 games. But it would be a miracle to see him back on the floor before the end of the 2023-24 campaign. As usual, Collin Sexton and Keyonte George will remain viable DFS options, with the duo combining for 40 points in Sunday's loss to Golden State. At the same time, Johnny Juzang, who had 27 points in that one, should continue to attract the attention of DFS managers.
Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) won't play on Sunday against Golden State. The Jazz are limping to the end of the regular season, and, likely, Collins may not see the floor for the rest of the 2023-24 campaign. With Walker Kessler (nose) also out, Omer Yurtseven, coming off a 12-point, seven-rebound effort in Utah's previous game against the Clippers, will remain an enticing DFS option.
Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (nose) won't play on Sunday against Golden State. He fractured his nose during Utah's previous game versus the Cavaliers and didn't suit up for Friday's meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers. Omer Yurtseven got the start in that one, finishing with 12 points, seven boards, and one steal, making him an ideal DFS value option on Sunday night.
