Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Huerter (leg) is available ahead of Saturday's game against the New York Knicks. Huerter will make his return to the court after missing the last game due to a right leg contusion. Keon Ellis figures to head back to the second unit with Huerter returning on Saturday. As a reserve player, Ellis probably won't have enough value to warrant starting in most fantasy formats.
Indiana Pacers forward Doug McDermott (calf) will miss a ninth consecutive contest on Saturday against Brooklyn. The veteran sniper has returned to practice but isn't quite ready to get back to work yet following a calf strain. However, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle has said that McDermott is getting close to his return, so he could be an option early next week. Obi Toppin and Jarace Walker are in a position to eat up a few more minutes without McDermott, with the former being the better fantasy option.
Sacramento Kings guard/forward Kevin Huerter (leg) is considered questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Knicks. He's in danger of missing a second consecutive game with a right leg contusion. However, Huerter was a full participant in Friday's practice session, which is a good sign regarding his availability. Huerter's return will likely send Keon Ellis back to the second unit, where he will have minimal fantasy appeal. Huerter hasn't been a very good fantasy asset either as of late, posting only 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in March.
Sacramento Kings forward Trey Lyles (knee) is out for at least two weeks. He injured his left knee during Tuesday's win over Milwaukee, with further testing revealing an MCL sprain. The 28-year-old has averaged 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds this season. Although those numbers aren't enough to keep him a relevant fantasy option, he is still a routine member of Mike Brown's rotation. As a result, Lyles' absence could mean more action for Harrison Barnes, who is coming off a 23-point showing against the Lakers on Wednesday night.
Indiana Pacers forward Doug McDermott (calf) participated in practice on Friday and seems to be close to returning to game action. The veteran shooter hasn't played since February 26 and there has never been an official timetable for his return. The Pacers don't seem to be in a hurry to get him back on the floor, so he may still have to miss a couple more games. When he was in the rotation, McDermott wasn't receiving that many minutes as he had yet to find a firm role with the team. When he returns, it will likely mean fewer opportunities for Obi Toppin and Jarace Walker, but McDermott won't be fantasy relevant right away.
