Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (knee) has been tagged as questionable and is in danger of missing his 11th consecutive game due to a bone bruise in his right knee. The sixth-year wing has appeared in 11 games this season with averages of 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.2 threes, and 1.4 turnovers per game. If he's still unable to suit up, however, Cody Martin and Josh Green should remain in the starting five. Martin has turned himself into a valuable streamer in deeper leagues with 9.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 threes per game over the last five contests.
Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (knee) has resumed on-court activity. He missed a fourth consecutive game on Wednesday versus Miami due to a bone bruise on his right knee and remains without a timetable for his return, but this signals a significant step in the right direction for Bridges. Tidjane Salaun has played a bigger role in the Hornets rotation without Bridges, even logging 30-plus minutes in back-to-back games. Charlotte has lost a number of bodies to injuries, so Bridges might get heavy usage straight away once he's back in the lineup. The 26-year-old has averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 30.1 minutes this season.
Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (knee) will be shut down and re-evaluated in one week. Bridges aggravated his knee injury during Tuesday's contest and was held out on Thursday as a result. The Hornets are going to be without Bridges for the next three games. The expectation is that the team uses a committee approach to fill the void. Moussa Diabate, Grant Williams, and Cody Martin should all see increased roles for the next few games. Williams is the best streaming option out of the bunch, but Martin could be worth a look after a 15-point performance on Thursday.
Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Bridges has been dealing with a nagging right knee issue and he appears to be in too much to pain to play on Thursday. His absence should result in more playing time for Tidjane Salaun and Cody Martin in the rotation. Between the two, Martin is the better streaming option for Thursday's slate. Martin has recorded four steals and four blocks over the last two games, so his defensive ability makes him a more appealing option for this contest.
Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (knee) is questionable for Saturday's meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks. The 26-year-old has struggled this season, averaging 14.6 points and shooting a career-low 26.7% from behind the arc. With that said, there's a good chance he won't return from his three-game absence on Saturday, although the questionable tag at least suggests he's moving in the right direction. In the meantime, Grant Williams, averaging 10.0 points, 3.5 boards, and 44.4% shooting from downtown, is worth starting in deeper fantasy formats. However, Bridges' absence should mean the most to LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, who are both in line to see a significant bump in scoring chances.
