Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is officially questionable to play in the team's Friday night game at home against the Nets. Despite typically entering games with the questionable tag, the Lakers' star has only missed four games this year and should have a good chance to suit up. With the Lakers being off last night and tomorrow, James likely will give it a go on Friday. If he doesn't end up playing, Jarred Vanderbilt and Rui Hachimura would most likely step in for expanded minutes.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) and center Anthony Davis (ankle) are both available for Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Both players were uncertain coming into this game, but that seems to be normal these days. As usual, James and Davis will both be active for this game despite the injury tags. The expectation is that they will have their normal roles in the rotation, so fantasy managers can feel comfortable with them in their lineups.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is active ahead of Monday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The superstar forward came into this game as questionable due to a lingering ankle issue. Despite that, James will make his return to the court after a one-game absence. James will resume his role in the starting five and should play his normal role in the rotation. Fantasy managers can feel safe getting James back in their lineups on Monday.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) has received another questionable tag ahead of the Monday night contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The superstar forward was unable to play in their last game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday and the Lakers suffered a seven-point loss. Out of the last 149 games James was listed as questionable, he's played in 79% of them, so he has a higher chance of taking the floor in an important game against a playoff team. If he's unable to play, D'Angelo Russell took his place in the starting five against the Jazz, so he'd likely move into that spot again. Russell did a good job in his place with 39 points, eight assists, three rebounds, one steal, and two blocks.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) isn't available for Saturday's matchup against the Jazz. The multi-time MVP logged 24 minutes in Thursday's blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns, ending the night with 10 points off a rough 3-for-11 shooting. Unfortunately, he tweaked his ankle in that one, so his absence could extend into Monday's meeting with OKC. That said, Anthony Davis (ankle) is the favorite to lead the team in scoring without James on the floor. At the same time, Austin Reaves and Taurean Prince could see a significant increase in scoring chances, even more so if D'Angelo Russell (knee) isn't in the lineup.
