According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Miami Heat forward/centerKevin Love(conditioning) will not be available for Friday's contest against the Denver Nuggets. Love hasn't played in a game this season for personal reasons. He appears close to playing form and could make his season debut versus the Timberwolves on Sunday. Thomas Bryant and Haywood Highsmithhave taken more prominent roles in rotation during Love's absence.

Love is dealing with personal issues at the moment and hasn't seen any action so far this season. Thomas Bryant has solidified his spot as the backup center during Love's absence, although he doesn't provide a lot for fantasy managers. Bryant has recorded 5.7 points per game with 2.0 rebounds in 13.7 minutes. Haywood Highsmith is also in a position to play a more prominent role in the rotation, but his production has been very underwhelming.

Forward/center Kevin Love declined his $4 million player option with the Miami Heat on Saturday. The veteran finished last season by averaging 8.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. However, he appeared in just 55 games. Without question, Love's best days are behind him. While there's a chance he could return to Miami, it won't make him a consistent fantasy option, even though he should have a handful of productive showings during the 2024-25 campaign regardless of where he ends up.
