New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. This will be the fourth straight game that Alvarado has missed due to his hamstring strain. With the Pelicans dealing with a litany of injuries, the sooner the 26-year-old can get his high-energy style back on the court the better. Expect Brandon Boston Jr. (12.3 PPG) to continue getting additional minutes.
New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado (hamstring) remains out heading into Saturday's meeting with the visiting Los Angeles Lakers. The 26-year-old will now miss his third-straight contest, so his next chance to get on the floor will be on Tuesday in Dallas. The Pelicans' injury report is loaded with names, meaning fantasy managers may see expanded production from Brandon Ingram, Brandon Boston Jr., and Javonte Green.
New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado (hamstring) won't play in Wednesday's contest against the Thunder. The Pels are thin currently, with Jordan Hawkins (back), Herbert Jones (shoulder), CJ McCollum (adductor), Dejounte Murray (hand), and Zion Williamson (hamstring) all on the shelf. But now Alvarado will join them after tweaking his hamstring in Monday's narrow loss to the Brooklyn Nets. With Alvarado and company sidelined, Brandon Ingram is the favorite to lead the way offensively. But there's also room for Trey Murphy III, Yves Missi, and Jaylen Nowell to get more involved.
New Orleans Pelicans guards Jose Alvarado (ankle) and Jordan Hawkins (back) are both available ahead of Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Both players were considered questionable coming into this one, but it appears they're feeling good enough to give it a go. Hawkins is back after a one-game absence due to lower back tightness. Hawkins has stepped into a bigger role for the Pelicans lately. He's averaging 21.7 points and 3.7 rebounds across the last three games. He's worth a look as a streaming choice right now. Alvarado scored 18 points during his last game, but Hawkins is the better streaming choice between the two.
New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado (knee) will suit up for Wednesday's matchup against the Bulls. He's been plagued by a right knee contusion and was listed as questionable. Fortunately, he's good to go. The Pelicans could certainly use him, considering the team will be without Zion Williamson (illness). As a result, Alvarado may see more minutes from off the bench, making him a viable fantasy option in any format.
