Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) isn't expected to play in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs against Orlando on Saturday. He missed the end of the regular season, making his last appearance on March 8, and Wade wasn't in Wednesday's practice. Wade's absence means more minutes to Georges Niang and Marcus Morris Sr. off the Cavaliers bench. However, neither player doesn't carry any significant fantasy value as long as Evan Mobley stays healthy.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) is unavailable for Tuesday's matchup against the Utah Jazz due to a right knee sprain he's been dealing with for several weeks. Tonight's tilt will be his 12th straight missed game and it is unclear if he will return this season. Wade hasn't been a solid fantasy contributor this year and when he's been healthy, the 27-year-old has averaged just 5.4 points per contest. Evan Mobley, Caris LeVert, and Georges Niang have seen an uptick in minutes in Wade's absence.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) has already been ruled out for Friday's matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers due to the right knee sprain that he's been dealing with for a few weeks. This will be his 11th consecutive missed game as he's missed most of the month of March. Wade hasn't been the best fantasy contributor this year, but has had some moments as a solid streaming option when the team was dealing with a lot of injuries. Evan Mobley returned to the starting lineup though, so Caris LeVert and Georges Niang will see added minutes in Wade's absence.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) is set to miss his seventh game in a row due to a knee sprain on Friday. The backup big man hasn't been able to play since their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 8. His absence is felt a bit more than usual since Evan Mobley (ankle) has also been out for the last eight games. While Wade hasn't been the most fantasy-friendly player, he was useful in some streaming scenarios before. Now that he's out, Jarrett Allen and Georges Niang will continue to be the starting big-man duo while Marcus Morris and Tristan Thompson will see some added minutes off of the bench.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) is officially ruled out for Wednesday night's battle against the Miami Heat. Wade will miss his sixth consecutive game with a right knee sprain. The absence started for personal reasons, but the injury woes have kept him out longer than expected. Cleveland was playing Wade an average of 22.8 minutes in his previous six games to show his value rising before this roadblock. Marcus Morris Sr. looked great in his first game for the Cavaliers and has a good chance to cement his rotation minutes with Wade, Max Strus, Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley all out. Georges Niang and Isaac Okoro are the other forwards receiving some of Wade's minutes to boost their fantasy potential.
