Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Houston Rockets. The hope was that Beal would be healthy and ready to go after the All-Star break. That is not the case as the superstar guard will miss his second straight game on Friday. Both Eric Gordon and Royce O'Neale should see increased roles in the rotation with Beal out. Also, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant will be asked to carry the load on offense with Beal missing at least one more game.

He's been a key piece for the Suns' paint presence and on the boards this year. Since Nurkic couldn't play the full game on Thursday, Royce O'Neale stepped in and received some extra minutes while Drew Eubanks also got some time. Both of them will likely get more opportunities on Friday with O'Neale possibly getting the start if they decide to go with a smaller lineup.

The 30-year-old has also averaged 18.2 points during the 2023-24 campaign, five points fewer than last season. Nevertheless, reports continue to indicate Beal will be out there on Thursday. But if he's not, Royce O'Neale, who's averaged 7.0 points, 5.0 boards, and 2.3 steals in three games with the Suns, is worth rostering in any fantasy league.
