Miles McBride is looking at a fresh opportunity to start, while Shake Milton is ready for his Knicks debut after he was snapped up following a buyout agreement with the Pistons. McBride has averaged 17.5 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in four games without Brunson this season.

The West Virginia product has averaged 17.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.5 steals as a starter. He should have no issues racking up the stats against a Hawks squad that shares the league's worst defensive efficiency with Washington.

Thrust into a ridiculous workload with Jalen Brunson (knee) hobbling off the court early, McBride came off the bench and didn't sit for the remainder of the contest following the All-Star's injury. Over McBride's four showings without Brunson in New York's lineup this season, the 23-year-old spot-up shooter is averaging 17.5 points, 4.8 dimes, 4.3 boards, 3.0 treys, and 1.5 steals in 42.2 minutes. With Brunson questionable at best for Tuesday's matchup versus the Atlanta Hawks, McBride is well worth a speculative add off fantasy waiver wires. The Hawks give up the second-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards, and they are tied for the worst defensive efficiency rating (117.6).
