Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (ankle) is available ahead of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Edwards appears ready to play after being listed as questionable earlier in the day. That is good news for the Wolves who are shorthanded for this game. Edwards has been red-hot lately and that should continue during Sunday's game. Fantasy managers should make sure to get him in their lineup before tip-off.
Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The big man will sit this game out after being listed as questionable coming into the contest. Naz Reid will be asked to pick up the slack with Karl Anthony-Towns (knee) sidelined as well. Reid is going to be forced to play big minutes, which makes him an appealing streaming option for Sunday's slate.
Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (hamstring) is uncertain to play in Sunday's matchup with the Lakers. The multi-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year popped up on the injury report late on Sunday, and with Minnesota currently in the middle of a six-game road trip, head coach Chris Finch may play it safe by holding him out. With Kyle Anderson (shoulder) also carrying a questionable tag heading into the meeting with Los Angeles, Naz Reid and Luka Garza could see more work. However, the former's fantasy upside is much higher. At the same time, T.J. Warren, coming off a six-point, four-rebound performance on Friday against Cleveland, could surprise people if Gobert and Anderson don't suit up.
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 22-year-old tweaked his ankle during Thursday's meeting with the Indiana Pacers and carried an injury designation heading into Friday's game in Cleveland. However, he was available for that one, logging 42 minutes, so it would be surprising if he didn't suit up against Los Angeles. As always, the All-Star should remain featured in all fantasy lineups, assuming he plays. But with Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) out of commission, Edwards should continue to receive extra scoring opportunities.
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (ankle) is questionable for Friday's matchup with Cleveland. The 22-year-old had a massive 44 points on Thursday versus the Indiana Pacers. However, he tweaked his ankle in that one, so fantasy managers had an idea he'd show up on the injury report heading toward Friday's game. Luckily, Edwards is one of the most durable players in the league, meaning it would take a lot to keep him off the floor. But things happen, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker in line to start if Edwards gets ruled out. Alexander-Walker has averaged 9.5 points and 1.1 steals in 17 starts this season. Although those numbers aren't the best, they are good enough to get him into some fantasy lineups.
