Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (groin) won't play in Tuesday's game against the Washington Wizards. After missing Saturday's road victory over the Atlanta Hawks for personal reasons, Lillard is now being listed as out with a strained right groin. The superstar guard's next opportunity to take the floor will arrive on the second half of Milwaukee's back-to-back on Wednesday versus the Memphis Grizzlies, and he should be deemed day-to-day until more is known about the injury. In Lillard's absence, veteran Patrick Beverley figures to be called upon for a second straight spot start at the one after joining the first unit against Atlanta. In three games as a starter for the Bucks this season, Beverley is averaging 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds. 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.3 threes and will be a great DFS budget play against a Wizards defense yielding the fourth-most fantasy points to point guards.
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (wrist) is considered probable for Saturday's action against the Hawks. The veteran guard missed a game against the Lakers earlier in the week with a right wrist sprain but played through the ailment on Thursday night versus New Orleans. Beverley missed all four shots against the Pelicans while playing only seven minutes, but he is expected to be in the lineup again on Saturday. The Bucks can use Beverley to slow down the in-form Dejounte Murray a bit, but he hasn't carried a lot of fantasy value for most of the campaign.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (ankle) is listed as probable for Saturday's matchup against Atlanta. He's set to make his fourth consecutive appearance, although the team hasn't yet fully confirmed his availability. Middleton has notched 14.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.2 assists in 31.4 minutes since returning from an ankle injury a couple of weeks back. A clash with the Hawks is one of the best fantasy matchups a player can get, so Middleton shouldn't disappoint managers on Saturday if he's in the lineup.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) is expected to suit up for Saturday's game against Atlanta. The multi-time MVP remains on the injury report because of left hamstring tendinopathy. While the ailment cost him a few games, he's been available for Milwaukee's previous four contests, most recently logging 39 minutes in the loss to the Pelicans on Friday. He played well in that one, scoring a game-high 35 points and 14 rebounds, meaning the injury shouldn't discourage DFS managers from getting him in their lineups.
Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (personal) will be out of the lineup Saturday against Atlanta for personal reasons. Lillard left Thursday's game versus New Orleans for an undisclosed reason. However, the 33-year-old missing the contest isn't due to an injury. AJ Green, Patrick Beverley (wrist), Pat Connaughton will likely see an uptick in minutes. The next chance for the guard to play will come on Tuesday versus the Washington Wizards.
